The UK feels noisy, divided, and spiritually thin and we refuse to pretend a new slogan, a fresh march, or another political cycle can heal what is broken. We pull everything back to one centre: the cross of Jesus Christ. We talk about why flags can deepen division, why the gospel has to stay clear and steady, and why we believe the Holy Spirit is calling people to a grounded faith that holds firm when culture is shaking.

From there we open the Bible to Joshua chapter 3 and the crossing of the River Jordan. It is not a tidy story about easy victories. The river is at flood stage, the priests are told to step in, and the way opens as they obey. We explore what that means for Christian living today: God’s Word goes before you, instruction matters, and breakthroughs often come after you have stood in the “drama” for longer than you wanted. We also dig into the twelve stones in Joshua 4 as spiritual milestones, the kind of markers that help you remember what God brought you through when fear and doubt rise again.

We also speak about discernment in the UK church: resisting prosperity teaching, being cautious with constant “God told me” language, and turning down the relentless media commentary that can crush peace and shrink faith. The challenge is personal and practical: what is your Jordan right now, and what would it look like to cross over by faith rather than by pressure, metrics, or cultural expectations?

A Nation Needing The Cross

SPEAKER_00

Good morning and welcome across the world and in the house today. Let's turn to the to the Old Testament. Let's go into the book of Joshua. You know, I feel that we just got to keep it on in a sensible platform at the moment because this nation is broken, is busted. We are spiritually weak. The UK, England, the British Isles, whatever we're called, I don't know what we're called anymore. But what I'm gonna call us is that we are called by God. That this nation belongs to Jesus. That this nation is a Christian nation. That this nation, there is a stirring, that there is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit over this nation. And I'm not talking about crazy revivals. I am talking about a stability in Jesus Christ. That this nation will know that the God of Israel is alive and well, and the power of the Holy Spirit is in the hands of the beholder and the king of kings and the king of the Jews. And we pray that every flag will be laid down. Every flag will be laid down and the cross will be exalted. That the cross will be lifted up. The word of God will be we don't need flags. There's no point in flags, it just brings political division. What we need is the cross. The cross. What is the cross? What is it? What does it represent? It represents Genesis to revelation, it represents hope, it represents salvation, it represents eternity, it represents redemption. God is sovereign. Christ is sovereign. It represents there is hope after death. It represents so much. We don't need another march. We're fed up with marches, we're fed up with flags. We want Jesus Christ. This is what we need. We need Jesus Christ on the streets. There's turmoil, there's fighting, there's absolutely everything going on. There's there's two-tier levels of everything. Of everything. You know, we've got to be careful what we say across the mics and the cameras because we gotta we gotta stay online. But you understand there's there's levels for certain people. And we don't get in the political drive, but we have to look at the political temperature, where we live and what is happening and what is going on. And we got to pray like we've never prayed before. We've got to get in the presence of Jesus, we've got to get in the depth depth of the

Turning To Joshua For Direction

SPEAKER_00

word. So we're gonna turn to the book of Joshua. We're gonna go to the book of Joshua, we're gonna go. Where should we go? Let's go to chapter three. Let's turn to Joshua chapter three. And as we look at Joshua chapter three about the crossing over, I actually believe that we are in a spiritual wilderness at the moment. Joshua chapter three, verse one, and it is such a long text, all the way to four, actually. And as you take your time, go ahead of me and read it. And uh, but where we sit as a nation right now, we are spiritually thin. We are spiritually thin. You know, we are we are in real need of Jesus Christ. The churches haven't got nothing to offer. Although there's fellowship and we can come and chat with one another, we need the message of hope. We need the gospel of freedom. We need Jesus Christ. We need the church to preach the same message. Jesus Christ was crucified, he was risen, he is the savior of the earth, he is the great I am. The prosperity gospel has no foundation. The the name it and claim it has no foundation, it never has, it never will do. Now is a time of focusing on Jesus Christ. You know, if if you ever remember me for anything, is that he said follow Jesus. Jesus Christ. He said, follow the King of the Jews, he said follow Genesis to Revelations, he said follow the God of Israel. Never follow the political drive, never follow the political language. It changes hour after hour, moment after moment. There is so much going on in the UK, so much stuff is being hidden, swept under the carpet. Certain things are coming out months down the line, things are happening, things are being hidden. But the word of God is your treasure. The book of Isaiah 53, I believe, it talks about hidden treasure. There is hidden treasure in the word of God, and God's word is the instruction that the manual for all humanity. And wherever you live across this world, whatever your life is looking like, you know, I actually believe the world is thin spiritually at the moment. We are very, very fragile. You look at the leader of this nation, he looks weary, he looks tired, he doesn't know what to say. And for those that just see Sadiq Khan that came back from a pilgrimage, he looks the worst state that he's ever been in his life. He doesn't look refreshed, he doesn't look restored. So it shows you who they are following and is doing them no spiritual favors whatsoever. Because when you follow the devil, the devil will make you look dead. When you follow Jesus, he will make you look alive. When you follow witches and wizards, and when you follow all that stuff that's out there black magic, white magic, all that sort of stuff. When you indulge in that, it puts a toll on your being, your spiritual being. When you follow the devil, you look very unwell. When you follow the devil, you look as if you're following darkness. You've only got to look at him online. You look at him, there's something not right with that gentleman at this moment in time. And where he's just come back from a pilgrimage for many, many weeks, it shows you if you follow other gods, you're not gonna look too good. But if you follow Jesus Christ, the Spirit of the living God, because there is life in Jesus, because every other God is dead. Every other God is dead. There is only one God that is alive, and the Bible says he doesn't sleep, he doesn't slumber. As he watches over Israel, he watches over you. So I want to let you know this morning, wherever you are across the world, that God is with you. God is with you. The God of Israel is alive and well. As you watch many people, many areas of I'll use the word religion, but you can use that and translate that very easily into the occult. When they go on their pilgrimage, you go and serve the devil, you look like you're serving the devil. When you serve Jesus and you walk with Jesus, there's a freshness in your walk. There is something about your being, there is a glow, there is a Holy Spirit over your life. When you follow Jesus, you look different. But go and do the search for yourself. He's been disappeared off the fabric of the page for four or five weeks. He's been on a pilgrimage and he he needs Jesus. So we've got to pray for the mayor of London that he finds Jesus. Because who he's following at the moment isn't doing him no favors whatsoever. So let's get straight into the word of

Reading The Jordan Crossing Account

SPEAKER_00

God. We are in a critical place because we have leaders in cra in strategic places in the UK that have been positioned by certain people to bring certain areas of different situations. I've tried to get it over without being knocked off online. Now we we are in Joshua chapter 3, verse 1. This is about the crossing. We're probably very familiar with the crossing of the river Jordan. But I believe as you read through this, this is quite a short chapter, and I will read it. It says, early in the morning, Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shithram. They went to the Jordan. This is where they camped before crossing over. After three days, the officers went through the camp, giving the orders to the people. When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord thy God, and the priests who are the Levites, carrying carrying this, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before, but keep a distance of about a thousand yards between you and the ark. Do not go near it. Joshua told the people, Consecrate yourself, for tomorrow the Lord to do amazing things among you. Joshua said to the priests, Uh, Take up the Ark of the Covenant and pass ahead of all the people. So they took up and they went ahead of the people. Then the Lord said to Joshua, Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so that they may know that I am with you, as I was with Moses. Verse 8 Tell the priests who are carrying the ark of the covenant, when you reach the edge of the Jordan's waters, go and stand in the river. Joshua said to the Israelites, Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God. This is how you will know that the living God is among you, that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Hivites, the Pegusites, the Jebusites, the Yammuites, and the Jebusites. See that the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go into the Jordan ahead of you. Now then, choose twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe. As soon as the priests who are carrying the ark of the Lord of all the earth set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap. Then the people broke camp and crossed the Jordan, getting ready to go. The priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of them. Now the Jordan is in flood all harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried them reached the edge of the Jordan, their feet touched the water's edge. The water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a distance, right up the river end up at Adam in the vicinity. And it said, While the waters were flowing down to the sea, was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho. The priests who were carrying the Ark and the Covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while the Israelites passed until the whole nation had completely crossed

Stones Of Remembrance And Milestones

SPEAKER_00

over. Now, this is a really interesting text. We could spend forever and a day in this, but in chapter four, it it tells us very clearly to choose twelve individuals from the tribes that when the Ark of the Covenant stops in the center of the River Jordan for you to go in and to take a stone as a marker of what God delivered you from. Now, there are many markers in our lives, a milestone. We've heard of the word a milestone. The word milestone comes from this text. It is a marker. So the twelve men from twelve different tribes took a stone out, and we're not talking about a little stone, we're talking about a rock. They put it on their shoulders. Read chapter four, and it really tells you what happened. So when the ark of the covenant, when you understand and we know what the ark represented, very powerful. The ark of the covenant, what it represented, the power of God, the anointing of God, Aaron's staff, a jar that was in there, you know, the promises of God, the word of God, the power of God. So the word of God went before. Now, what's really, really interesting, the word of God goes before every one of you online. God has gone before you, and God has given them clear, clear instruction in the physical realm to go and stand in the river Jordan. You know, quite a scary thing to do. But you know, God, through the power of prayer, He doesn't remove the obstacles, He gives us strength to go through the valleys and the rivers. He He strengthens you. And so often there will be markers in your life. Well, God will give you a marker to remind you of what He did. And that's what the 12 stones were for. A milestone. Oh, yeah, we've kept that. Do you remember? We got a bit of memorabilia, we got this, we got that. We kept it, you know, when this and that happened. Well, that comes back out of this book of Joshua because everything is scripture, everything comes back to the word of God. So you might be going through the most hardest part, the hardest walk of your life, and you're trying to hold it together in the house online, wherever you are, and God is going, get ready to cross over. But what we see is an impossibility. But let's remind ourselves that we serve a God that calls to things that are not as though they are. So we serve the God of Israel, and you you look from the kick point all the way through the word of God. Israel, Israel, Israel, Israel, Israel, Israel, Israel. God is the God of Israel. He is a God that is a jealous God. Yes, he is a God of love, but he is a jealous God, and he won't share his glory with no man. We are watching the mega churches crumbling. We are watching the financial markets get tighter and tighter. People haven't got the money to throw at these mega ministries and to feed the devils at the top of the Christmas tree. We are watching the collapse of mega churches, we are watching the collapse of denominations, we are watching what they call the great falling away in the Word of God. But if you stay steadfast, if you stay solid in the Word of God, Hebrews 12, as you read Hebrews 12,

UK Church Drift And Coming Judgement

SPEAKER_00

1, 2, and 3, it says, keep your eyes on Jesus. Whatever storm you're going through, whatever valley you're going through, whatever river you think that you got across. Now let's just remind ourselves of the context of the text that we're in. You know, as you look at this text, they weren't fighters, they weren't warriors, they weren't bred for war, but God led them every step of the way. When they became disobedient, God dealt with them. And I believe God is dealing with this nation because we are a disobedient nation. We are dabbling with devils through foreign gods. And the UK church is too scared to deal with what it's got to deal with. So we are in trouble in this nation spiritually. And when you get in trouble spiritually, you also get in trouble practically and physically because there are repercussions that come down into the realm in which we live. The Bible says very clearly, if my people would humble themselves, seek my face, seek my heart, then I will heal their land. But God isn't going to do nothing to the UK. Yes, we belong to him, just like the Israelites belong to him in the wilderness. I believe God's wrath is about to drop on the UK. I believe judgment is coming because of the UK church in the majority area of it, and especially the UK government, has come away from the word of God. When you come away from instruction, if the Levitical priesthood didn't do what God told them to do, if that wasn't executed and delivered, you would find that they would never have got to the promised land. You will only get to the promises of God when you listen to clear instruction. But then we say to ourselves, Well, I'm not hearing from God. It's not about hearing the voice from above, it's about hearing the voice internally. Well, you might say, and I might say, Well, I haven't heard that voice. We hear the voice when we read the word of God. When you read the word of God, that is God's language to me and to you. God doesn't jump out of the sky and go, Good morning, Ben, do you want a latte this morning? I'm on my way to Costa. I'll grab you a latte and a croissant. Let's fellowship together. He doesn't do that. God speaks through the word of God. He speaks every day, every moment. His word is 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is live and it is active. It is sharper than a double-edged sword. So if I keep instruction in my spirit and my heart, what's going to happen? I'm going to see miracles. So as you look at the platform of the church and you look at the state of the UK at this moment, we have never seen so much carnage on the streets. We have never seen so much division on the streets. And where is the church? The church has run back to the hills. We are watching what happened with David and Goliath. The church, you could look, and I'm not doing replacement, replacement theology. I'm not replacing Israel for the church. I'm not into all that old junk that they teach out there. But when you look at that, you can bring an analogy and you can look how that is. See, King Saul, he was scared of the Philistines. The church is scared of a certain rhythm of a certain area of a certain, you know what I'm saying. The church is scared. Not talking about congregations, I'm talking about the leadership. The leadership are scared to deal with certain areas of life that are happening down the corridor of this nation. So if the church doesn't deal with it, you will have spiritual implications. Because I'm afraid today at our little schoolboys at number 10 in London, they might as well just play upscotch and doing what they're doing and play ring and ring of roses because we're never ever going to get nowhere with a changing of the guard. When you keep changing of the guard, it's never going to happen. You can change the guard, you can have a great physical leader in number 10, but we don't have that. What we need, we need to deal with the spiritual crisis before we see the manifestation onto this earth. So we need to deal with it. How do we deal with it? We may say, well, we got no voice. But just like all those Israelites, they was coming under the instruction. See, when you come under the instruction of the leader, the leaders are either going to lead you into the promised land or are they going to either lead you astray? These leaders stuck to every commandment, every rhythm, every syllable, every punctuational mark in the vocabulary. They stayed under instruction. They faced adversity, they faced giants, they faced war, but they did not have to fight. All they had to do was go, God's going to do it. Our God is able. So as you walk through the rhythm of life, we are being led astray by religion and the bureaucracy and everything that's coming out of the rhythm of the political drive. The political drive is not going to be able to deal with the spiritual issue that we have. The church can't deal with the split uh with the spiritual issue. It might sound a little bit crazy because it's got to repent of the wrong teachings. If the church continues to go in the wrong teachings, it is out of

Standing In The Flood Before Freedom

SPEAKER_00

what? It is out of instruction. See, when I come out of instruction, I come out of the Father's house. I'm not separated from the love of the Father because you look at the prodigal son, you look at that. But the Israelites and Joshua and the entire area of this text that we're in, they listen to what God said. When you listen to what God says, you've got to have a breakthrough. You have to have a breakthrough. The shackles will go, the fear will go, the doubt will go. But what's interesting, they were faithful, but God did not do what we would imagine the church in the UK to do. You can imagine if the church in the UK was in this situation, you can imagine what they'd want. God took them through. God took them through. But what he done first, he made them stand in the drama. See, God will always get you to wait in the drama before freedom comes. So even though there's drama, even though the river is at full flood stage, even though life is beating against your ankles, your shins, and your knees, even though you are feeling the river Jordan at full stretch, and you feel the torrent against your life, the river is against us. If you are a Christian, the river will be against you. And at full flood stage, if you could see what was happening, the debris also that was in that river floating down, trees, lumps of wood, all types of area of life was it was at full flood stage. It would have swept so much down. It was at full hard stretch. And so often we say to ourselves, God, why is this going on? God is saying through his word of God, listen, listen. I will get you through to the promised land. I will show you my glory. But what I want you to do, Ben, is just to hold it for one moment. And when you stand in the River Jordan, when you stand in your worries, your fears, your doubts, your anxieties, when you stand at the riverbank, when you get ready to cross, I actually believe God is getting ready for us to cross from so many scenarios into other promises of God. This nation isn't lost. The government is, and society is, but if you are a Bible-believing believer, now this is something we have to be very, very careful of is how we look at um church. When we look at church, yeah, we're in church and we believe and uh we know that we are saved. It's not about getting into the building, it's about Jesus calling you. So there are encounter people about there are uncountable people, I should say, online across the world, watching services, listening to prayer meetings right now, that will never get the opportunity to step into a church. But God is with them. Many people won't be able to get into that opportunity and have that freedom of getting right into the depth of fellowship with other brothers and sisters for many, many different reasons. But God is with them online. God is with those people that can't even get online at this moment, that are crying out in areas of life that have never heard of Jesus because that's the greatness and that is the power of the living word. But with God that we serve is the God of Israel, He's the God of miracles, He's the God of favor, He's the God of Appointment and God has appointed us, you and me, wherever you are across the world, to be Jesus followers, to follow Jesus. Yes, we'll make mistakes. Yes, I make mistakes. Yes, I say the wrong thing. I do the wrong thing. I act out lying because we are sinners saved by grace. But God is calling us, God is calling you right now through Matthew, He's calling you through Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. When you look at this text, now the Ark of the Covenant had gone before. The word of God had gone before. So when you look at this great scripture, God's word always goes before. God's word is always before. God's word is always on time. What's interesting here, they had the privilege of seeing God go before their very eyes. Now, right up until the cross, they could see that in many, many areas. But now after the cross, we've got to live by faith. It's a whole different remit, completely different. Now the Ark of the Covenant. Where's the Ark of the Covenant? Where's this? Where's that? All that sort of stuff. But now we live by faith. So when Jesus Christ was on the cross of Calvary, he said, it is finished. Now we see a transfer. What's really, really interesting, the word was carried externally. The commandments were carried externally. God's presence was external. They see everything on the outside. But when Jesus said, It is finished, the covenant was fulfilled, and there was a transfer from external physical visualization to carrying the word of God internally. So there was a transfer at the cross. So what we see through the Old Testament, we see the ark being carried, we see God's presence very real, the pillar of fire, the cloud, and everything that goes along with God displaying his glory. But now it's almost like it's God's gone quiet on the physical revelation of revealing himself through the signs and the wonders. But what I want to tell you that just because you're not seeing the signs and the wonders, the pillars and the clouds of fire and the heavenly hosts and all that, it doesn't mean to say God has been furloughed. God is in your life, but there's been a transfer at the cross. So that's what we see.

From External Signs To Inner Faith

SPEAKER_00

So when we read these powerful, really strong biblical facts, these powerful stories in the Old Testament, God was very visible, God was very vocal in the sense of Himself. But then we were getting ready for the redeeming king. So suddenly we get to the cross of Calvary and the Word of God and everything was carried externally. But then suddenly, when Jesus died on the cross and the Old Testament was fulfilled and the promises that came into being and the covenant, because it was a blood covenant, the Old Testament was a blood covenant. We see that the blood covenant was fulfilled by Jesus Christ being pierced and punched his side and everything that went on with that from the Garden of Gethsemane until he said it is finished, and then we see the resurrection. Until, even though Jesus said it is finished, we see a transfer, but it wasn't until that we see the resurrection and the ascension that all the scriptures were fulfilled. As soon as they see his Nike air trainers disappear under the other side of the cloud, and he disappeared, and it was and he disappeared beyond the human eyesight. As soon as that was done, then all the scriptures were fulfilled. So we see stages of the Old Testament and the prophecies being fulfilled, but it wasn't fulfilled. Yes, it was fulfilled at the cross. Yes, it was fulfilled at the grave. Yes, it was fulfilled at the Passover table. Yes, it was fulfilled. It was a correlation, it was a rhythm. Until Jesus disappeared outside of eyesight, that's when the scriptures were completely fulfilled. Then we entered into the new covenant. We understand that everything was visualization in the Old Testament. But as soon as he disappeared, now I've got to live by faith. I've got to live by faith. Yes, he reveals himself through dreams, revelational knowledge. He reveals himself. But let me tell you this. You hear so many people say, Well, God sat in my breakfast room this morning. God was in my van visually. God said, God said, God said, God said, Be very careful of the people that use that terminology. Be very careful. God speaks through his word. And when someone says, God is telling me you this, God is telling me that, be careful because it will change. Be very careful who prophesies over your life, who prays over your life, who gives you a word of knowledge. Be extremely careful what you receive. This is the situation that we're in in the UK. You know, when you look at the church, the church has come out of instruction. When you come out of instruction, you won't get the promises of God. But I believe God is calling out individuals. God is calling individuals out of the institutions, out of the rhythm of church, and God is calling you right now. And you might be facing the biggest river of your life. You might be facing the biggest challenge of your life. You might have the biggest battles of your life. You might be having the biggest areas of the conversations that only you know and what goes on in your own head, and no one else sees it on the outside. God sees, and God is doing miracles. God has not left you. You are not an orphan. God loves you. There is nothing on this earth, under the earth, in the earth, around this earth that can separate you from that covenant, from that love. You are saved and you are grafted in. There is nothing on earth. But the UK is very fragmented. The UK is very distorted at this moment in time. And the way forward is to press into the Word of God. Not to look at another ballot box, not to look at the changing of the guard, because when the changing of the guard happens, there won't be no change. Because you can't change unless there is a spiritual shift. The spiritual comes first. When you listen to certain uh radio stations, when you listen to debates and all that, everything is spoken about academics. See, academics won't change a spiritual problem. Academics won't change the rhythm. The only time that you see a change is when my people humble themselves, call on my name, then I will heal their land. You listen to many media channels, you listen to very interesting political commentators, journalists, very educated people speaking. You won't find no one speaking of the spiritual implication that we are in. Where does it go back to? It goes right back to when the government cut that tie, that tire with Israel, 1947, 48, 49. I can't remember what date it was. When the government decided to cut the tire with Israel, they cut the umbilical cord. That's when we slipped into the abyss of the spiritual wilderness. So everything has to be spiritual before the practical. See that you see that in Genesis. You see that right in Genesis, very clear. There was nothing. Then God said, See, when you speak into a situation, change will come. Depending on the language you speak, it's either going to change or it's going to get worse. That's why it's important to make sure who's in the corners of your life. If you've got a lot of negative people, they're going to pull you down. A lot of negative language will pull you down and corrupt your spirit. That's what we got in the UK. The political language is very damaging to the human being, it's treading down certain areas of people. So when you allow yourself to be inundated with the language from political journalism, and when you allow yourself to be inundated with this radio station is saying this, this that commentator is saying that that news channel, you are inundated with negative worldly language that is not godly. And I'm not talking about swearing, I'm talking about the impact of words. Because words are power. Words are powerful. So if I allow myself to listen to a certain news channel that that specializes in speaking all day long, that comes out of London and certain areas. And if I listen to the political language, I'm going to find that I'm going to become frustrated because I'm hearing different points of view from different human beings. When I listen to number 10 from the left and the right, one side of the house, the other side of the house. There's carnage all day long. And I won't get no feeling of peace in my spirit. When I watch the news, I'll have this news channel telling me this, that news channel channel telling me that, social media delivering that, one newspaper on that. When I feed myself all that stuff, I become very pressed down in my spirit. What I gotta do is I've got to be in the word. I've got to pray like I've never prayed before. Because we are just like these Israelites at the River Jordan, waiting to cross. But we won't be able to cross all the time. We're listening to the political commentary, we're listening to what is happening in the world because we are bound by what they are saying. See, words will bind you. You know what it's like when you go to work, if you're in a relationship, if you're in a culture, if you're in a certain rhythm, a certain um, and also there's something else that the church hasn't deli uh dealt with, and that is spiritual abuse.

Words That Bind And Spiritual Abuse

Every Sunday morning we see so much spiritual abuse. What do you mean? Coming from pulpits, coming from pulpits. The majority is coming from a man delivering a message that is a man-fueled message that will suit the man, and will you we don't need to go down that route, but you know what I'm saying. So, what we listen to, the Bible says, iron sharpens iron, iron sharpens iron. So if I read the word of God and I'm reading this and I'm saying, Father, right now in the name of Jesus, I've got a river to cross. Lord, I gotta get through, and God will get you through. Father, in the name of Jesus, I'm going to the doctors today. Lord, I need a healing. Lord, I'm scared today. Lord, this fear has got to go at the name of Jesus. Lord, I've got too many people that are trying to control me in my life. Lord, I need freedom because I can't sleep. Lord, I got too many voices. Lord, there's too many dogs in my life. Lord, there's too many pigs snorting at me. There's too many dogs biting at my ankles. Lord, the Bible says, don't cast your pearls to pigs. Sorry, number 10. You don't, you can't, if if you give that, don't cast your pearls to swine. You got to protect the gift that you have been given. The Bible says that protect what you have been given. Just because we're born-again spirit-filled believers doesn't mean to say that we won't come under attack. You see that very clearly in scripture. When those that were called got too arrogant about their calling. Samson, he didn't listen to true instruction. When you look at certain characters, when they didn't listen to true instruction, and they heard it for a while, but they were then they walked in their own strength. See, that is what we have a lot in religion: arrogance and pride. We can't go in arrogance, we can't go in pride. See, when you look at these Israelites, men, women, children, cattle, when you look at the crossing over, God will take care of you. God has taken care of you. We're coming to the table right now. We've got to get back, you know, we're gonna get back to the table. But as you look at this scripture, I've done it no justice whatsoever. The text is so big. But what can we pull from this? I've just got to listen to Jesus. Don't worry what everyone else is saying. Don't listen to what the rhythm of the world is telling you. What is God telling you? What is God leading you to and through? It may be a lonely walk for a while, it may be a scary walk for a while. You may put your feet in the Jordan River of life, and all you see and hear is the torrent of the river in front of you, and you're thinking to yourself, I am not gonna get through this situation. When I think like that, I am not gonna get through, I've given myself a limiter. Not God, I've limited me. Because the God that we serve, there are no limits with the God of Israel. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ. How many people, how many Christians are in the graves right now, not living the full potential because they were scared about culture, they were scared about the family, they were scared about the business, they were scared how many people have gone to the mortuary with a tag on their toe, not living to the full potential of what God has dropped in their spirit, laying in the graveyard, how many stories are untold, not even unfolded, so many stories, so much of the promise was waiting. It's not because God hasn't given, it's because I haven't trusted. We can't go to the grave living a life that we haven't really lived. How many people breathed their last certain area I worked in? I could never tell you the amount of lines I've heard dropped to me at the last breath of life. I wish I had.

Purpose Over Culture And Education

Freedom. Yeah, I know we've got to have a house. I get all that, but there are ways of having that and dealing with that, but not according to number 10, but according to scripture. God, how do you want me to live? How many people are in churches today that shouldn't even be in them churches? You should maybe shouldn't be here. How many of you should be missionaries? Pastors and leaders and preachers? How many people are at home that are not living the full potential? Missionaries, pastors and leaders that shouldn't be listening to me today, should be somewhere else across the other side of the world. Maybe you should be planting your own church somewhere. Maybe God is calling you to something else. Why are you here today? Why am I here? Have I overstood the time? That is the question. Where should I, where should you, where should we be as individuals? And when we live our lives according to the rim of the world, we do what the scripture says that we didn't have time to go into. Don't be left on the banks of the River Jordan. You got a cross. Is God calling you to missionary? Is God calling you to plant a church on the other side of the world? Is God calling you to up sticks and to go somewhere? Why do you live where you live? Why are you living the way you live? Why do I live the way I live? Why am I doing what I do? What is the rhythm of my life? Am I where God wants me to be? The majority of us are where we are because of cultural drive, financial drive, work drive, number 10 drive, school drive. We go and live our lives to where we think the children are going to get the best education. Well, up sticks and we go and live at that, that we go and find that school because we think that they're doing this. You can't we can't live our lives according to education. Now, I I could be shot down with bullets on this one. Education limits you. It really does. Education limits you. You have to understand sometimes education has to freeze, and you've got to walk in the spirit, and you've got to walk by faith. See, this is what we have with political commentary. This is what we have in the business acumen in the world. Everything is living and we are doing by when it's very interesting when you look at government, they won't put a spiritual leader in place, they'll put an academic leader in place because it's all about academics, it's all about facts and figures. And trust me, pie charts are not in the kingdom of heaven. Analytics are not in the kingdom of heaven, measures and matrix are not in the kingdom of heaven. You won't find it. God chastised David when he said, Don't take a census. What did David do? He got mathematics involved. You won't and you shouldn't measure God. So when we live our lives by the pie chart, the flow chart, by the compass, by the ruler, and by the educational stretch that we think that we have, we limit ourselves. So this is where we have a class layer. Just because I'm dyslexic, why should that limit me? Just because I'm not wired the same, why should it won't? And it will never do that. Because faith supersedes education. But we live our lives by the educational drive, by the cultural drive, by how many O levels, G C S Es, how many, have I got a doctorate? Have I got a BA? Have I got this? Have I got that? It will limit you, and what it will do, it will blow smoke up your own chimney. Because at the end of the day, in the graveyard, it means nothing. In the real world, it means nothing. This world in which we live is not real. If we live by political standards and by the rhythm of culture, we are not living the true life that God has for you. And how many people are in mortuaries right now? How many people are in graveyards being buried tomorrow that haven't lived the full potential because we've gone for academics, we've gone for the career path, we've we've we've stopped living because the culture says you can't live like that. God is calling you to live different. Education will limit you, money will actually limit you, whether you got it or whether you haven't got it. But when you walk by faith, rivers start to park. When you live by faith, healings start to move. When you live by faith, God opens doors. When you live by faith, now that will be the most difficult and the hardest area of life that we will ever live to live by faith. Because we live our lives by perception, by what we see, what we touch, what we smell, by what we perceive, by the natural elements of the world. Now, when they crossed that River Jordan, they had to go by faith. Because everything was against the human race at that point. When you need freedom. Everything will be against you. When you're looking for Jesus, everything will be against you. We'll even leave church today and go, what was he rambling on about? Why did I burnt my spuds? Because I'm sitting online. Why did I let the beef go all fuzzy and mushy? I should have clicked out ages ago. See, don't listen to me, listen to Jesus. What is God? What is the Holy Spirit? What is Jesus calling you to right now? Where is God calling you? What is God saying to your spirit? And that can be scary also as we come to the table because it goes ever so quiet. As quiet as a church mouse. But when I start to read, oh, there's a change. There's a change when I read. And so often I read the word and I think I'm too tired. I can't get it. But God works through revelational knowledge. He doesn't work through education. God is not interested in education. He's not interested in how you teach your kids and what education they got. He's not interested in that. What he wants to do is to say, Ben, children, whoever you are, come and live by faith. Yes, it has a place, but we put it in the wrong place. The Bible says, bring a child up in the way that it should go. And we have lost all understanding of what that Bible meaning means.

Communion, Prayer, And Final Charge

Bring a child up in the way that they should go. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to the table. Right now, Lord. And Father, I say, Lord, I pray that you will take the limiters off our lives. Lord, that you will deal with our mind that limits us. You deal with our thinking that limits us. Lord, and we will live our lives by faith. And we will speak words of authority over our lives. That we will speak scripture into our very most being. So Lord, wherever we are, cover us, wash us. But Lord, as we take this bread right now, as we take of this cup right now, speak to our hearts in the name of Jesus. The Bible says, and the night he was betrayed, took bread. And when he had given thanks, he broke in and said, This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me. Father, we thank you for the cup of redemption. And Lord, wherever we are across the world, as we break bread together, Father, thank you that we don't need to be in church. We don't need to be in a religious building to be able to break bread and to take of a cup. But Lord, I just hold this simple little cup. It's just grape juice, fruit shoot, whatever it may be today, Lord. And Lord, I just ask you that you help me to realize what it symbolizes. The symbol of the blood of Jesus. And that blood covenant that was spoken into existence in Genesis, that was finished at the cross and on ascension day. So Lord, I pray. I thank you that this cup symbolizes the blood of Jesus. Cleanse us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. Amen. We're there, we're at the door. We made it. God is with you. Don't ever give up. Hold on to the living word of God. But where is what is? And where is God calling you to be? What he's saying, what is he saying about your life? What is he saying about our lives? What is God saying? What is he drawing you to? Should you be in church today? Should you be in life online today? Should be on the other side of the world, preaching and teaching, building schools, building orphanages. Where should you be? What is your purpose for the plan of God? See, it's easy for us to shout Jeremiah 29, verse 11. But let's not be like uncountable people in the mortuaries, being buried this week in the graves already, not living to the full potential in Jesus Christ. Father, I thank you for this hour. And Lord, I pray as we get ready to cross the River Jordan. And Lord, that River Jordan represents so much. I ask you, Lord, as we face fear, we get ready to cross through. As we face doubt, we'll get ready to cross through. Financial strains, worries, fears, illnesses, sicknesses. Lord, whatever that River Jordan represents in our lives, maybe, Lord, we've got to separate ourselves from cultural teachings. Maybe we've got to separate ourselves from certain work colleagues. Maybe we've got to cross over. Maybe we've got to leave this church. Whatever we've got to do. Well, Lord, wherever we got to be, whatever we got to do, wherever we have to be, Lord, I pray that we will capture the rhythm of heaven and the Spirit of the Lord will lead us. So, Father, bless everybody online, bless everybody in the house. Strengthen us all, we pray. For the coming week, Lord, breathe over number 10 Downing Street, right the way through London. And Father, we thank you that London belongs to Jesus Christ. Bless us in the glorious name. Amen. Should we stand and say the Lord's prayer together for those that will join us online tonight? For those that will join us around about 9 o'clock to 10 past nine, uh, join us on X as we have an hour's worth of prayer meeting online tonight. We welcome everybody in to the prayer meeting online tonight. May God bless you and carry you and never give up.
