Proverbs 3: Returning to the Wisdom of God | Sunday Morning Service

In a world filled with noise, confusion, and competing voices, this Sunday morning service calls us back to something timeless: the wisdom and instruction of God. Welcoming listeners from nations, cities, and communities around the world, we gather around Proverbs 3 and rediscover what it means to trust the Lord wholeheartedly.

As culture constantly pushes new ideas, identities, and definitions of success, Scripture reminds us not to forget God's teaching but to allow His Word to shape our hearts, minds, and daily lives. We explore the powerful promises found in Proverbs 3—peace instead of anxiety, direction instead of confusion, healing instead of brokenness, and a life rooted in faithfulness rather than fear.

We also address some of the challenges facing the modern church, including spiritual distraction, religious performance, and prosperity-focused teaching that can distort the true Gospel. What does biblical prosperity really look like? Is it wealth and status, or is it peace, purpose, freedom, and a deep relationship with Jesus Christ?

The message also confronts the painful reality of spiritual abuse, division, and exclusion within religious communities. The Kingdom of God is not built on status, background, gender, postcode, culture, or financial position. Jesus invites all people to come to Him, and the early church stands as a powerful example of unity, grace, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

Together we reflect on the eagle's ability to rise above the storm and consider how believers can rise above fear, pressure, and uncertainty by placing their trust fully in God. We conclude with Communion, prayer, and a renewed focus on the Lord's Prayer as a daily pattern for spiritual strength and stability.

Whether you are a long-time believer, returning to faith, or simply searching for hope in uncertain times, this message offers encouragement, biblical truth, and a reminder that God's wisdom remains as relevant today as ever.

Good morning and welcome everybody in the house this morning. Good morning and welcome everybody online. You know, I didn't want to frighten her, but I just wanted to let you know where we are and what's happening with the people around the world at this moment in time. You know, so that the Lord is moving across the world, the Lord is moving very, very powerfully. So wherever you are joining us this morning, too many cities to read out, too many nations to read out, too many figures to read out. That is the power of being online, and we welcome every one of you wherever you are across the world, and everyone, it's great to see human beings in the church, and it's good to uh be walking with Jesus wherever

Proverbs 3 Read Aloud

we are. But we're gonna turn into the Old Testament, we're gonna go to the book of Proverbs. I hope you can hear us all right online. I hope the volumes have settled down and we're we're okay. So God bless you wherever you are across the world. But we're gonna jump straight into scripture, you know. I pray that you will find so much peace in your life. I pray that you will find rest for your heart, your mind, your body, and your soul. But this is just a simple scripture. Proverbs chapter three. What I love about this, what I love, it doesn't mention church, it talks about the teachings. So let's just read this, just have a look and just pray that the Lord will minister to every one of us in the house and scattered across this amazing world. Chapter 3, Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 1. My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life by many years. They will bring you prosperity, let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Father, we pray that you will bless the scripture, that the scripture will come alive in the name of Jesus, that your word, Father God, will touch our hearts, our minds, our bodies and our souls, Lord. That you will strengthen us, Lord, wherever we are, in this house and across the world. Lord, we thank you for miracles in the name of Jesus. But Lord, let your word penetrate our heart now. Let your spirit, dear God, lift every one of us and let us realize, Lord, all is okay in Jesus'

Teachings Over Religion

SPEAKER_00

name. Just the simple stretch of this text, as we look at this text, it says, My son, do not forget my teachings. You know what I love about this scripture, what I love about the text that we're in as we just look at this. Again, there's no on the fabric of the page, there's no mention of ministry, there's no mention of church, there's no mention of religion. He just says, Don't forget my teachings. What is he referring to? We understand going back in in the signs of the times when these scriptures were written, it was just the law and the Torah. That's all they had. Just don't forget, don't forget the Ten Commandments, don't forget what was written on the tablets. Just don't forget, live your life. Now you accelerate, you know, thousands of years up the timeline, and you see where we are, and you look at religion and you look at the church, and then you have to ask yourselves, where are the teachings of Jesus Christ? Where are the teachings of Jesus in the school? Where are the teachings of Jesus in number 10 Downing Street? Where are the teachings of Jesus across the world? Because this is clear instructions from the eternal God, the God of Israel, the father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jehovah Jirah. He's very clearly just saying, My son, he's speaking very personally, just to the human being, to each and every one of you, wherever you are right now, my son. Do not forget my teachings. Hold on to the word. From Genesis to Revelations, gently just put your eyes down the fabric of the page. Do not forget my teachings, but keep my commands in your heart. Keep them locked on the tablet of your heart. It is it is critical. So no wonder we've got so much desolation, so much uh fragmentation across the world, and especially within the UK, because when you look at the church, what is the church teaching at this moment in time? What is the ministry's been preaching for so long? The fake name it and claim it, the prosperity gospel that got us nowhere. All it got was uh Kenneth Copeland. He got him 11 aircraft, he'd done well, but is he going to heaven? When you look at that sort of stuff, the prosperity gospel, the fake name it and claim it, the Bible says, do not forget my teachings. He's not talking about going to another manual, he's not taking and saying, I want you to get a book from Pastor Ben, I want you to get a book down the road, I want you to see what they're saying. God is saying, You stay with me. Don't don't swerve to the left, not the right. You stay in the book, the greatest book the world has ever seen. And when you read the book, but it's very interesting when we read the book, we haven't got the time. I'm too busy. Life is so fast and furious. I got this, I got that. And when I start to read the book, maybe time, I don't have it. And then my phone's going off, and then an email comes for a text, someone knocks the door, or I'm I'm there's so much disturbance within the the culture of the world in which we live. The world is so fast and furious, but God is telling us, I believe God is bringing us back to where we should be and where we should have been. I'm referring to the religious order. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth. Where does that line come from? We know exactly where that line comes from. The great book of Joshua. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night. Then you will be. This is why there is so much hardship and fear and worry, because the church has come away from the book, it's picked up the manual, it's picked up man's creeds, it's it's picked up a thousand ways to pray, seven hundred ways to read the scripture. When God just says, keep in the word, you don't need the the Holy Spirit is the one that teaches us. What I love about God, the deity, is that God doesn't expect us to go to church. There's a difference between fellowshipping with your brothers and sisters, because the Bible says iron sharpens iron. If I'm in a uh a woke church, I'm gonna become blunt. If I'm in a church that isn't preaching the fundamental points, the birth, the death, the resurrection, the coming of Jesus Christ, if I'm not in a church and listening to the word and and making the word tell every one of us that we're we're all equal, there is no one greater than anybody else in the world. The Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God. And this old scripture says, My son, do not forget my teachings.

Soaring Above Fear Like Eagles

SPEAKER_00

Hold on to the word of God through your sickness, through your pain. I love the scripture that uses the the analogy of an eagle. You know, when storms come, I will soar on wings like eagles. When you understand and you look and you study how how an eagle flies, how an eagle soars on the thermal values of the heat that bounces up off the earth, and even in in the time of crisis, it's the only bird that will face a storm head on. It will fly through a storm. It is so powerful the way that it flies, the way there it just cruises at high altitude, even when there's adversity, even when there's there's things happening. You know, the power of the eagle, it soars higher than any other bird. And it the hotter it is, the higher it can climb. Because it rely, it's relying on the sun. Very interesting, it's relying on the sun. As the sun heats up the earth and the thermal values rise and it captures those thermal values under the wings, the hotter it is, the higher it will fly. It is the greatest bird the world has ever seen. It's not worried about storms and change of temperature, it's not worried about what comes down the track of its life because it will fly high and it will survive. So that scripture says, I will soar on wings like eagles, I will I will get above the cloud line of trouble, of fear, of doubt. But when the nation comes away from the teachings, when you look at what's being taught across the church for generation after generation, so no wonder we are a weak and woke religious place, the UK. I gotta be careful how I phrase all this stuff. No wonder there is what does the church offer you? What is generally across the fabric of the nation, what do we get? What do we gain from church? Absolutely nothing. A little bit of chat, a little bit, you know, everything goes on. But what you will get from Jesus is beyond human understanding. What you will get from the word of God, what you get from scripture, my son, do not forget my teachings, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life by many years. It is the word of God, it's not Canterbury, it's not me, it's not Elim. It is the scripture that will keep you and help you to soar high above fear, doubt, worry. Whatever comes in the face of yourself, look

Jesus Over Culture And Status

SPEAKER_00

at that great biblical text about David and Goliath. Israel was scared of Goliath. It's very interesting when you study that biblical text that Saul dressed David in the armor that he thought he needed, and everyone tries to dress us in a character, in a culture, in a colour, in a creed, in a box. See, David said this is not fit for purpose. He walked around the king's palace and he went, This is no good for me. See, what people try and what they say, you've got to live like this, you gotta do that, you've got to walk this way. Because the grandparents went this way, because the culture goes this way, because we're going this way, because the colour goes this way, because this goes that way, that's the way. It isn't the way. Jesus is the way. Your culture isn't the way, my colour isn't the way. The religious way is not the way. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. See, we'll get in trouble if we stay in the colour. We get in trouble, we stay in the culture, in the postcode. When you look at the postcode, especially in the UK, you know, certain areas, the postcode, you know, I don't tell too many people that I live in BR870X, you know, it's got some swagger, that postcode for sure, I can tell you. But if you had a real great one, you'll be quoting one in the London and all that sort of stuff, the W's and all that, but mine is BR8. You know, when when you but you know, so we are defined by our postcode, by where we work, by what school we go to, by what culture, what color, way we speak, the way we act, the way we react, and the way we live our lives. But Jesus, that's not biblical. That's not biblical. Jesus says we're all children of the living God, regardless where we're birthed, regardless of age, regardless of who we are and where we have landed into the world, Jesus says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. So when you study the church in the UK, it says, My son, do not forget my teachings. What has the church done? It's forgotten the word of God, and I'm talking about the layers of authority. I'm not talking about congregations, I'm talking about the layers of the authoritarians in those positions. Do not forget my teachings. You could say that's a bit harsh. Why is it a bit harsh when you've got a man in a pulpit in a dress and got eye heels? That's facts, it's happening in church. Cross-dressing, doing this, doing that. Do not forget my teachings. I'm an XX or an XY. Done. That's a given. Thank you, Jesus. I know who I am. Well, I was when I woke up this morning in the name of Jesus. Look at the Bible. God is saying, look at the Bible. If you want to prosper and be successful, now that's where we have to be careful when you look at the word prosper. Oh, the prosperity gospel. Gimme, gimme, gimme. It's not that. Prosperous and being successful has nothing to do with the rhythm of financial. Because if I live my lives, we all need money. We understand. We got bit, we all know what the rhythm is. But if I make that the first and foremost, I am putting a limitation on my life. If I say to myself, I get X comes through the door and I've got to live my life. See, we are programmed to live by what we get from the people that we work for and what comes through and lands in the bank. But Jesus says, drop your purse, come and follow me. See, it's about living by faith. When we realize it's not money I need, it's Jesus. When I realize it's not a postcode I need it, it's Jesus. And sending the children to certain schools and certain areas. Oh, we can't live in Swanley. Oh no. Oh, we can't live in Swanley. Oh, have you heard about Swanley? It doesn't matter where you live, it's how you live, where you live. Because every one of us has given us the gift to change the environment of where we live, where we go to school, and where we work. That's what happens. The problem is, is when we work in the ivory towers and we work in the corporate environment, for those that work in a corporate environment, we've got to adapt ourselves to what the culture says on the wall. And when you read the culture, the culture of the company and what it what we're we're working in, there is hardly ever you will find the word oh goodness gracious, mate. The word culture, you've got to adapt to the culture to what we believe. Well, I'm not gonna do that because certain areas of what you're saying doesn't line up with my belief. So we live our lives limiting ourselves. We live like chickens. Chickens can't fly. We got to live our lives with a different understanding. You gotta think I'm gonna soar high today. I don't need money, I just need the sun. What does the eagle rely on? He relies on the sun. What do we rely on? The sun. When you look how the scriptures are written, when you look at the word of God, Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Come to me, Matthew 11. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, I will give you rest. See, many people, Christians, will go into work on a Monday morning or even right now, working in an environment that is ungodly. And what we do is without realizing, we allow the ungodly environment to hold us down because we're too frightened to talk about what we believe in because we are worried about getting a P45 through the post and the line manager saying you can't do this, you can't do that. The same with school and education, when you look at that, we live our lives by what man writes, the culture of the workplace, the culture of the head mistress or the head master, the culture of where we live, the culture of the colour, the fabric where I come back, where I live. If I live my life by all the criteria of the world, I won't live in freedom. I've the only place I will find freedom is in the word of God. The Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God. The Bible doesn't talk about church as religion tells us and as the the the fake name it and claim it, the great big churches that are absolutely starting to see, and they have for a long time the pinch, the pinch, because when you run a business, you rely on money. When you walk with Jesus, it's a different story. When you walk with Jesus, my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches and glory. Who's my God? And that is the question: what God do I serve? The God of money, the God of culture, the God of color, the God of the world. What God am I following? Jesus just says on the shoreline, drop your nets, come and follow me. For those two to drop their nets to go and follow Jesus, that was very powerful because their nets was their financial, their nets was their business, their nets was feeding the family and the people around them. The nets was representing everything. But Jesus said, Drop your nets, come and follow me. He said, Let the dead bury their dead. Drop your purse, leave your purse. He says, if you want to live a life of freedom, you can climb the ivory tower. You can be a CEO, you can be whatever you want. But let me tell you this: there are more CEOs that have climbed the ladder, the career ladder, built their CVs, climbed up the ivory towers, got the great office at the top looking over London, and as they look across London, they're still not satisfied. Because Jesus Christ isn't their Lord and Savior. See, when you make the Lord Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, it's not about church, it's not about religion, it's understanding who Jesus is. And he says in this scripture, this this simple read that we got in front of our eyes, my son, do not forget my teachings. He doesn't say, My son, don't forget Elim. Keep Elim's commands in your heart. He doesn't say nothing like that. Church wasn't even in existence at the writing of this text. He says, My son, don't forget Maya. I believe that we or us, whoever may be bold enough to say yes. My teachings, who's the Maya? Who is this Maya? Who are we listening to? Who are we following? Are we following Jesus? Because Jesus just says, follow me. Follow me. Yeah, let Pastor Ben just bunny on like he does, but at the end of the day, you've got to follow me. You've got to follow me. I don't expect you to follow any denomination. I'm not expecting you to follow any creed of man. I'm not expecting you to follow any color, any culture. I said, come and follow me. What's interesting when you follow Jesus, the postcode goes, the color goes, the culture goes, the status goes, everything goes when you follow Jesus. And what do you get? You're a son or a daughter. That's the fact. That's the biblical fact. And then we could go on a little bit further, but we don't like, you know, I'm a sinner saved by grace. And many people you will you will say that to, they'll get offended. I'm not a sinner. Well, I am. I'm a sinner saved by grace. I'm a prodigal. I'm a yo yo Christian. In, out, upside down, slip, slide on the ice of life. But let me tell you this Jesus won't let you go. Jesus won't let you go when you realize I cannot get to where I've got to get to on my own. I need Jesus. I need the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. My son, do not forget my teachings. Keep them on your uh keep my commands on your heart. They will uh prolong your life by many years and bring you prosperity.

Redefining Prosperity As Freedom

SPEAKER_00

It's not a pound sign, it's not a dollar sign, it's not a euro. I think maybe we've lost the understanding of what that actually word means. The significance and the meaning behind that health, strength, freedom. That's what prosperity is. It's not about going to the whole little warm count in the north. It's about understanding I'm free. I am free. There is nothing like being free in Jesus Christ. And then he goes on. Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of Elim. No. In the sight of Canterbury, no. In the sight of God. It's God, God, God, and then God. And then we put a full stop on it, and then guess what? It starts with God. It starts with God, it finishes with God. Everything. When I realize how many people across the world, every one of us, are not living our full potential. Why are we not living to the full potential of the gifting that God has gifted us with? Oh damn me. I've only got a tenner left. Oh difficult decision. What am I gonna do? Are you gonna get a Big Mac or put a bit in the car? Oh well, I'll walk home. It's we we are relying on the funds that we have on us. And then we say, Well, I can't because I'm not well. I can't because I've got mental health. I can't because I can't because I can't because I can't because what was when you when you look and you study the fall of humanity in the garden, that powerful line that you cannot erase, that Satan, Lucifer dropped to humanity. Are you sure God said when that drops into the process of the brain and the mind? Are you sure? Oh, hang on. Yeah, I can't remember now. Actually, I'm not sure. See, it's very interesting. Humanity listens to the lesser voice rather than the voice. Because God said to them, listen, everything is yours, but just don't. Oh. When that comes in the arena, just don't. It sits there, and then they had the deceiver come along. But God has said, everything is yours. How many people are uh how many of us, how many people across the earth are living not to the full potential of the gifting and the ability that God has given me and every one of us because we have restrictions. We have allowed it the restrictor to hold us. You follow lorries and certain vehicles and you watch on the back of them on the motorway. They're limited. The world wants to put a limiter on you. The world wants you, the culture wants you to do what the culture says. The colour wants you to do what the colour says. The postcode wants you to do and act like the postcode is and what it wants to do. Religion wants you to dance, how religion, it's very interesting. From here to the to the all the churches, if you were to be able to go from hot one to another now, it'd be interesting to see what we're all talking and all preaching about and all reading at this moment in time because it will be completely different everywhere. But the critical thing is the Bible says, do not come away from the word, word of God, do not let this book of the Lord depart from your mouth, meditate on it day and night. Then you will be prosperous and successful. And that links into what we are reading here. And as we drop into verse 5, we're going to come to the table in just a few moments. It

Trust God With Whole Heart

SPEAKER_00

says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. That would be the hardest, the biggest fight of a Christian is to trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Because we've been to the doctors, and the doctor said, I've got sorry, I'm sorry, I don't know how to deliver this, but you get into work and the line manager says, I'm sorry about this, and you're getting, I'm sorry, I don't know how to tell you this, but, but, but, but. See, we allow words to penetrate our ear gate. Words are powerful. The book of James tells us the tongue is the most powerful muscle in the body, it will either lift you or drop you. So the people in the circle of your life are critical. The people, the crowd, when you look at what's happening now, do not follow the pattern of the crowd. The summer months that are happening at this moment in time, we're even hearing across the news channels that there is a certain generation getting down on certain areas of the coastline and causing a lot of trouble. See, there's trouble in the crowd. There's trouble in the crowd. The festivals are starting to spring out. There'll be trouble at festivals, all the all the fairs, everything that goes on. And we live our lives very simply by what the one at the front says. Don't live by what I say, don't trust me what I say. Read what the Bible says. Read what the Bible says. Whatever I say, make sure that whatever I say is backed up with scripture. If I haven't got it right, come and come and tell me. So when you look, we live our lives, the majority of our lives are led by what someone else says to us, and we react by what that person says. Number 10 down the street. I know we're not listening to them at the moment, so we're going to raise that one. But you look at religion and certain areas, and you look at certain areas, and it's a very interesting area of church, what we call spiritual abuse.

Challenging Segregation And Abuse

SPEAKER_00

It don't really get mentioned a lot, but there is a lot that goes on in certain areas of church of spiritual abuse. You look at, I'm not just talking about Christianity, I'm talking about across all the fabric of religion. You can't sit at the front with us because you're different. You've got to sit at the back of the church, you've got to look after all the chavis, you've got to sit over there, you've got to sit down there, you can't sit over here. The front three rows are for men only. Well, let's remind the men around the world in church at the moment what were the men doing at the birth of the church? They were outside of the upper room. So if you want to know what who was praying before the men even got in the prayer meeting, it was the women. See, we cannot segregate anybody in church. If we are segregating people, it's an occult. Just say it as it is, there's no time messing around. You go to certain areas of church, they will be a certain color, a certain vibe, a certain age, a certain uh platform. If we are in a church that is full up with one type, we're in trouble. We've got to be in a sweet shop. Best to be in the sweet shop of church where you've got kids sitting here, women sitting over there, men, and but everything's happening. Everything's mixed in. Because when you look at scripture, you will not find a place where God says, separate. We're all equal. We're all equal. But man has manipulated the scripture to suit man's understanding. You look at the letterbox people, you know what I'm saying. You look at the letterbox people, who made that up? A man. When you look how them poor women are treated, it is absolutely vile. You can't walk with me, you've got to walk behind me. You can't do this, you can't do that. No scripture says that. Who was the one when all the men were around Jesus, when he was walking through the streets, the Bible says he was crowded around by the men, his disciples, and the lady said, I've got an issue. See, the men didn't want to have anything to do with it. She said, If I can touch the hem of his garment, if I can get myself to that man, Jesus. See, Jesus wouldn't have men's uh women segregated in different parts. He says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and heavily laden, and I will give you rest. If we start getting in the area of color, culture, attitude, and every and if if we get in that, you're in an occult. If the priest refuses you in a certain area of religion that we know that you cannot take of the sacraments, if you get refused, you're at the gates of hell. Because let's remind the world who sat at the Passover table, Judas Iscariot, and suddenly out of nowhere it says Satan entered into the body of Judas. And at that point, Judas took the sop and the bread. Judas took communion, and when Judas was given communion, the eyeballs of the Messiah were locked onto Judas, and who was in the body? Satan himself. Jesus knew Satan was round the table, and he didn't say no. He didn't slap him, he didn't punch him, he didn't kick him, he just whispered in his ear, What you're about to do, do quickly. And actually, he bypassed the human and he was talking to the spirit. See, we gotta we've got to pause in a moment because we've got to break bread. We've got to get an andos, of course. So when when you look at the rhythm and the word, God doesn't leave anybody out. The lady with the issue of blood, she stopped Jesus. The men would saying, Come on, Jesus, leave it. What do you mean? She touched the M of his garment. Who was it that came and washed his feet? Who was it that gave birth to him? Who was it at the cross on his last minutes? What did he say? He didn't talk about his friends, he didn't talk about the disciples. He said, That's my mum. And you know what, John? You read what he says, the whole world stopped because Jesus wanted to make sure his mum was all right. When you look at Jesus and how he treated women and how he had the utmost respect, it is a study and a half. He was on the cross, the whole Old Testament was bearing down on him. The New Testament wasn't even written because it was being written as they breathed and walked. So at that point, the whole world, heaven and earth, was watching the cross of Calvary. And Jesus stopped redemption and salvation and time, and he looked at his mum. John, you better take care of her, Mum. John's gonna look after you. The whole world stopped. So if you're in churches, if you're in when you look at certain areas of religion, segregation. Because man's got to be in control. Man has got to be in control. And I understand what the scripture says. Send an email, send a text, and I'll just put you in a delete box. You've only got to read what the scripture says, and the scripture that we're in says, My son, do not forget my teaching, keep my command in your heart. What does it mean, son? It's referring to humanity, the human being. Jesus in the New Testament, he didn't say, Come to me, all men that are weary and tired, and I'll give you rest. Come to me. All that money, no money, colour, whatever. Creed, culture. Come to me. But what has church done over the years? It is it has done exactly what the world has done. It is segregated. It is boxed off. It is boxed off and it is roomed off. That's not the kingdom. It's not the kingdom. It's not the way it should be. Because as we come to the table now and as we're gonna break bread, in uh the upper room, the Bible says Jesus and the men dropped in, and the women were at full stretch. They was in full flight, they was praying, and the Bible says they were praying together. I don't think for one moment that the women were at the back making tea and tidying up the mess that the men have left. They was the Bible says that at the birth of the church they were all together, there was unity, there was equal understanding, and the Holy Spirit came and he separated and he just sat on the men only. Come on, the Holy Spirit descended, and it what seemed to be like tongues of fire separated and sat on every one of them, all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit at the same time, at the same hour, at the same rhythm, different color skin, different age, different sandals, different vocabulary. Some had beards, some didn't have beards, some had long hair, some didn't have long hair. When you look at the birth of the church of Jesus Christ, no one was left out. Because the kingdom is so different to what we see across the model around the world. So as we come to the table right now, where do I belong? If I'm in a church that has got segregation, I'm out. I'd rather go and sit in the field and talk to Jesus. Do not be isolated, do not be separated. I've had experiences where I've gone to certain areas and certain rhythms, the only one in a certain place. Not right. As we come to prayer, there's only one place we gotta be found, and that is walking with Jesus. Walking with Jesus, walking with Jesus.

Communion Prayer And Closing Blessing

Let's break bread. Father, in the name of Jesus. I pray, Lord, that when we go to church, we're not segregated because the world segregates me by age, bus pass, postcode, what bank I bank at, what street I live in, what my name is, how I speak. That's the world. The kingdom says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that we will be just like Proverbs 3:1. My son, do not forget my teachings. Hold on to the word of God with all of your might. Hold on to Jesus. Be like Jacob that said, I'm gonna find God. I'm gonna get what I need to get out of the mess I'm in. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will wrestle with God until we get what we need. The Bible says you have not because you ask not. It's how I ask. It's how I speak. If I speak in a religious religious and a cultural and a certain tone with no scripture, it's meaningless. The question is, is how do I ask? You have not, because you ask not. Prayer, Lord, even though I go through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me. Lord, I thank you, dear God, for the prayers of David. Lord, I thank you, dear God. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Your kingdom come, your will be done. Thank you, Jesus. See, when I put the rhythm of scripture onto my lips and I speak the word, angels are put to flight. When I speak the word of God, healing has to move. When I speak the word of God, peace has to move. When I speak the word of God, miracles have to unfold. The Bible says his word cannot return void. I've just got to speak the word. I'll never understand it because it's God. So Lord, I pray, as I come, as we, dear God, gather across the world and in the house, as we break bread together right now, I'm asking you, dear God, that as we break this bread and take of this cup, together, across the world, from different cultures, different colours, different languages, different ages, different understandings of life. Lord, we all come to the cross of Calvary and we get to the Passover table and we just say, Jesus, we love you. I love you, Jesus. And Father, thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ, that was broken for me, that your body was broken for me. And right now, Lord, I thank you for the cup that symbolizes the blood of Jesus, the cup of redemption. So let's just take the bread together, take it a cup in the name of Jesus. The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, gave thanks. Took the cup, gave thanks. So Lord, I thank you that this bread is symbolic to the body. The cup is symbolic to the blood of Jesus. We are redeemed. We are redeemed. If you don't ever go to church again, you're probably doing yourself a favor. But you are redeemed. If you walk with Jesus for the rest of your life, you're doing yourself a powerful, a powerful new river. So, Father, bless this bread and bless this cup in the name of Jesus. Amen. Father, we thank you for healing now. And Lord, as we gently come to a close, I pray, dear God, that the Spirit of the Lord will move over this nation. That the fire of God will move in every church. Lord, I pray that tongues of fire will come down and sit from the youngest to the oldest. In churches right now, Lord, that are putting barriers up. To churches right now, Lord, that are segregating. Father, remind the pastors we're not cattle. We're children of the living God. We're sons and daughters. Remind yourself you are a daughter and you are a son of the Most High. And God loves you and God is with you. So, Father, as we come to a close, Lord, I pray for everybody in the house and online, wherever we are, scattered across the world, that the love of Jesus will be over our lives. We believe in healing, we believe in miracles, we believe in hope. So, Lord, I thank you. Lord, we're healed. Not because I've been to church, because Jesus loves me. Lord, our mind is being corrected. Not because I've been to church, but because Jesus loves me. Lord, today's a good day because Jesus loves me. So Lord, I pray right now as we leave the house and as we click offline. Wherever we are, scattered across the world. God bless you online this morning. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you wherever you are and for everyone here. Jesus is with us. Should we stand and say the Lord's Prayer? Should we stand and say the Lord's Prayer? If you're ever in trouble, or even not if you're in trouble, let's make this our first and foremost, whatever we do, wherever we are. It's the Lord's Prayer. Wherever you are, if you just get this on the rhythm of your heart, the Lord's Prayer. And as we say this together, say it as you drive, as you walk, as you do what you do through your life. Just say the Lord's Prayer over your life. Get it in your spirit. Get it in your heart. Get it in your mind. Get it to song. Get the Lord's Prayer in your heart and mind.
