As headlines intensify across the United Kingdom and the world feels increasingly unstable, this episode asks a serious question: what is shaping the mind of the believer, fear or the Kingdom of God?

From London, Reverend Ben Cooper explores Ascension Day as a powerful “in-between” moment in Christian history. Christ has ascended, the Church waits for His return, and believers must decide whether they will be formed by anxiety, politics, financial pressure, media noise, or the transforming truth of Scripture.

Using Romans 12:2 as a central foundation, this conversation challenges modern culture, political fear, and the pressure to conform to the spirit of the age. We talk honestly about the growing uncertainty surrounding money, trade, economic instability, identity, and power in the UK, while asking what it truly means to live under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

The discussion then opens into a sweeping biblical journey stretching from covenant and redemption in Genesis through the Cross, resurrection, Ascension, and into Acts, where the early Church emerges as a Spirit-filled, prayer-driven, Kingdom-centred movement.

This episode also wrestles with difficult but important questions surrounding church history, institutional religion, church-state entanglement, denominational identity, and the danger of drifting away from the simplicity of Christ. What does it mean to belong to Jesus rather than simply belong to a system?

Communion, Passover imagery, covenant, prayer, salvation, and spiritual identity all come into focus as we return again to the Cross and the call to remain watchful, faithful, and rooted in Christ during uncertain times.

Ascension Tension And Looking Up

SPEAKER_00

Sisters and brothers, let's look up. Let's turn to the word of God. And this is a very interesting time to be alive, especially in the UK or in any nation where you are around the world. But let's turn to the book. We're gonna go to Romans. We're gonna go to Romans 12, verse 2 first. You know, I said earlier we're in this in-between, this we're coming up to ascension day. We're coming up to when Christ ascended, was taken up into the heavenly realms, hidden behind the clouds. So he ascended, and then we're waiting for him to descend. The way that he went is the way that he will come back. So when we look at the the globe at the moment in time, it's very interesting. Every possibility, I will say 99.5%, that he might not be there in the morning. He might get his P45 and he might be gone from number 10 down in street. But also, along with that, we've got to be careful about policies. It's very, very important. As I said at the start of the service, I will repeat it again. I'm not frightened. What I'm saying, I'm not worried, but we cannot, we cannot enter into the European Union. The reason we cannot enter into that is because once we lock in, once we lock in law, suddenly we find we're in serious spiritual implications with the word of God. We need to make sure that we pray for a government leader that will keep us outside the EU because we cannot and we will not, and we must never worry about the price of the sterling and the money that we have. As soon as I start, and I'm probably one of the biggest ones to worry about Lord, I've got to pay the elect with electric, got to do this, we've got to do that, blah, blah, blah. So it runs in our thread. It's the natural way to be. But once I start looking at the trade, very interesting, the Straits of Humus, you know, those straits, very orchestrated very, very well. We are watching a one-world government. They're shaking hands with each other behind the bicycle shed. Don't be fooled. This is planned, this is orchestrated just like COVID-19. Now we've got a certain vessel sitting in a certain place of Spain, and we're about to brace ourselves for the next area of manipulation and control. We need to be extremely strong in scripture. This is where the church is, and I'm talking about when I talk about the church, let's make this clear. I'm not talking about congregations, I'm talking about the bishops, the leaders, and myself first. As when I talk about the church, I'm not talking about the congregations, I'm pointing the fingers at me and everybody else in the leadership levels of this, not just the, I'm talking about across the board because when we talk about we're in the church, the world looks at just the church, it doesn't break it down into denominations. So where we sit today, very cleverly, the Straits of Hamas have been orchestrated in manipulation and control. You've got now the Bible talks about end day plagues. When you look at the scripture, what the scripture says about diseases and plagues and what's going to happen at the last days. We have to look at absolutely everything. But right now, we look at the political temperature, not because I am driven by any political party, because I don't believe in politics one inch. Political is a man-made rhythm, and satanic activity is riding through the majority of the laws that are being given. Because when you look, yeah, I understand the motoring laws, we get that, that's obvious. But we're talking about laws that are written in Strasbourg and out there that we have to comply to as Christians. Now the Bible is clear what it talks about. There is no mention of political language in the Bible. What the Bible talks about is structure of governance, satraps, judges, and leaders. When it talks about governance, it is talking about when God puts leaders in position to govern and to lead and to make sure that we are living to the best and the fullness of the ability according to the word of God. So what we find is I'm just throwing everything out at the moment, and then God will just um bring it to the place it should be. So we got Strasbourg, we got the political language at this moment. We've got to go back, we're gonna get back, we've got to get back, gonna get back, get back. We cannot get back because once we get back, we we we commit ourselves to the temperature and the language of what they're doing. So you have to look at Genesis chapter 11, the the Tower of Babel. Very clear, the Tower of Babel. Strasbourg has been built and designed around that understanding, an unfinished building, a certain circumference, the way it looks, the way it is, and also the statue outside. I have to be very careful because we need to stay online. So when you look at the statue outside of the building and what it represents and uh what that human being is is riding and everything that goes along with that, it ties into the book of Revelation, it ties from Revelations to the book of Genesis. So when you look at the laws, now God tells us very clearly. Now we have just turned to a scripture that God makes it clear to every Christian. What does it say? Let's read the scripture first, and it says in Romans 12, verse 2 this is fundamental to the understanding of what I do and what I don't do. So in Romans 12, verse 2, do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Now that simple scripture tells us, do not conform to the pattern of the world. So if the pattern of the world is conforming and moving, and it has the temperature of Lucifer through that, I cannot be kin to that. Now, this is a very fine line of living because the Bible makes it clear as well. We are not aggressors, Christianity is not about aggressive. Christianity, when you look at the birth of the church, is about feeding, nurturing, watering, teaching, giving yourself to the community. That is what Christianity is about. It's not being oppressive, but it's talking about the scripture says, make your decision. The Bible, Jesus says, give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, give to God what belongs to God. So it doesn't take rocket science to understand what's happening at the moment. So do I follow the government? Now this applies to every nation around the world. Do I follow the government that is in the place of leadership, or do I follow God? So there is an area of my life where I can't swerve the laws of the land, the bylaws, the road laws, them sensible laws, we get that. But then there's other laws that come in that disrupt my belief system because you won't find road laws and normal laws that have been written about health and safety, which is great and wonderful, in scripture. What you'll find when you look at what is coming out of Europe and the laws written by by the judges and the satraps and all and all the lords and all that sort of stuff, you will find the majority of the laws are in the opposite drumbeat to the Ten Commandments. So we have to look at the church. So let's just pause a moment. There's a lot of we there's a there's a lot going on. The political temperature is extremely hot. Now, I've just got a timeline that I want to read out. Now, I'm gonna start, I'm gonna start this in Luke 23. So I'm gonna read a timeline to the birth of the church, because that's where we're at, because that's that's where we're at in the moment. We're in the book of Acts, we haven't turned there yet, but we just read that scripture, do not conform to the pattern of the world. So we get that. So that that is that is just sensible human understanding logic. That if it's if the if the system is not for the Ten Commandments, and I believe the majority of the church has forgotten what the Ten Commandments are, and the holiness of God. So this is a timeline because this this is relevant to where we are, to why we're where we are and what's happened. So, right, so the timeline actually starts right back at Abraham, but I'll I'll come to that in a moment. So if you if you want to follow the birth of the church, you will find it started with a blood covenant, it started with a blood covenant with God and Abram. You will find that very, very clear. That is clear. That is the start of what I would call the redemption church. But before that, before Abraham was brought into the arena, from the fall of the garden, we have redemption already. So redemption is written into Genesis, right back at the kick point. So redemption is everything. Redemption. So redemption is in the book of Genesis, chapter one. You will read it all the way through. It's not hidden, but God will reveal that because it's about redemption, redeeming. So the fall in the garden. Right, so from redemption to Abram, from Abram we have a blood covenant that comes right up to the cross. So Jesus Christ fulfills the blood covenant by going to the cross of Calvary. We get that. Don't want to get too tied theologically. Right, this is where the church sits. So, right, number one, the cross. Jesus is crucified, Luke 23. We see that. From there we go to the burial of Jesus, John 19. From there we go to the resurrection, Matthew 28. From there we go to the uh the Acts of the Apostles. This is where we start to see the beginning of the birth of the Church of Jesus Christ. So in Acts, the Acts of the Apostles, from one right the way through, and then we've got the 40 days after the resurrection, and that's where we're getting up to on Thursday, Ascension Day. You know, so as you follow that. So that we got there. So it's all about a blood covenant. So the Old Testament wasn't an and it was impossible for the covenant to be fulfilled through balls, heifer, everything, the law. See, when God with Abram, when He when they done, when He done that blood covenant, he brought in the law of the prophets, the law of the land. So there's always been them laws. So there's always been them laws, and they came all the way through. So we get to then we get to number five. Jesus promises the Holy Spirit. So this is where we see the birth of the church. So the birth of the church is in Acts chapter 1, verse 4 to 5. And then we got the Great Commission sitting in Acts of the Apostles 1 to 8. Then we got the ascension of Jesus after the commissioning and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We understand that Jesus said, I will not leave his orphans, but wait for the gift. So if you want to look and understand what the church should look like today, you go to the book of Acts. So we got the ascension of Jesus, Acts of the Apostles 1 to 9, and then we've got the upper room, the Acts of the Apostles 1, uh 12 to 14, and we've got the outpoint where now when we look at the church, so that is the birth of the church, and then we turn to another timeline. We turn to another timeline that's that's quite important. So as we look at this timeline now, so what we have, so coming back to the cross, because everything is is cross-centered, everything is at the cross. So the Old Testament is about the blood covenant not being fulfilled, that it can only be fulfilled and and fulfilled by Jesus going to the cross. So then we've got the timeline of what we call Christianity. So we know that Christianity wasn't on the earth before the cross. So we we get that, we understand that. But where do our roots come from? It is really, really important that we we pray for the Jews in London. Very important. We pray for the Jews because our faith goes right back to Jerusalem, Judea. Jesus Christ was a Jew, it was birthed out of Israel. Then you go back again to Abram. You can't escape the fact. So when you look at this, so this is a simple timeline of the church. So 30 uh 30 years AD, the birth of the church, we got that in Acts, and then we got the first and the third century early church. Now, this is before the church was legalized. This is when what we find in a moment, we'll see where the church split very, very clearly. So from the cross, 313 years, the church wasn't legalized. What we call the the church, the pentecostal. Now, I've got to be careful how I say the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, because I don't want to use the Pentecostal movement because we could think that the Pentecostal movement was birthed back then. It wasn't. The birth, the Pentecost, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Let's use that language. So the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was after the cross of Calvary, when Jesus was in the upper room, he said, wait for the gift, and this is where the fulfillment of being grafted into the olive tree, the vine, comes into full place. So 300 years, 313 years after the cross, the church was free. What do you mean by that? It wasn't legalized. So 313 years from the cross, 313 years out the timeline of life, the church was able to move around and it wasn't governed by man, it was fueled and led by the Holy Spirit. But then all of a sudden, we find in um 13 AD the Christianity was legalized. This is the problem. You can't legalize Jesus. Jesus Christ does not go by the law of the world. So suddenly we find there is an offshoot, there is a split. It started off as the persecuted church, it still is the persecuted church, it will always be the persecuted church. That is the church and the book of Acts. That is the church. But then all of a sudden, what we have, we have the Roman Empire coming along, and suddenly Christianity is legalized. But we got to understand this first. So the early church comes from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Rome, uh, Asia Minor, Africa, and then Europe. And then right at 13, uh 313 AD, Christianity was legal legalized. Uh, Constant the Great, this is the problem that we have. This is where it all went wrong. The Roman Empire suddenly legalizes it, and suddenly the human being gets a hold on it. That's when Jesus says, I've left the building. The persecuted church is the kingdom of the real church. And then suddenly you go to the fourth and the fifth century, the rise of the Catholic Church, another dangerous area. The church, the Catholic Church is dangerous, and then we come along a little bit further, and as we gently move over, we come up a little bit further, and then we come to the fourth and the fifth century, the rise of the Catholic Church, and then what happens after that? We find that Catholicism hits the shores of the UK, and when it hits the shores of the UK, suddenly we find that it splits again because the crazy king wants to cut his wife's head off. Sorry, chid. So suddenly we have the birth of the Church of England. So the Church of England is birthed out of a crazy king that is not interested in Christianity, all he wants to do is live his life how he wants to live. So the Church of England is quite far removed from Scripture. So suddenly we find ourselves, we have the two major splits. Constantine, you know, out of Rome, we have the first split, and then it comes to the shoreline of the UK, and then suddenly the Church of England is suddenly popping out because he wanted to do what he wanted to do, and everything that went with that rhythm. So suddenly we find ourselves is the church is not the not the image of what the church began. So this is why we have the issue. And then suddenly the church of England is birthed, and then suddenly, when you look at the Reformation and you look at the rhythm of history, and you go back, we have drifted from the book of Acts, chapter one and two. The birth, Jesus gives us instruction. He says, wait for the gift. He says, Go into all the world, the Great Commission. Everything comes out of that. So where we sit today, we've got to be extremely careful. So what we find, the political leaders, the majority of them, are not for the Church of Jesus Christ. So when you look at the Church of England, the state church, this is why it is so tied down. Because its constitution is woven in political arrangement. Then the monarchy, wow, how can you have the monarchy? When you look at the monarchy, what sits at the monarchy, and I'm not just I'm not just talking about Charles and his call gis, I'm talking about the next layer down of his brothers. You know, the brother, you know, who's who's just got his name in lights. When you look at this, when you look at this, so this comes, we're at crunch point in the UK. So if you're in the Church of England, I'll advise you to get out. If you're in the in the Catholic movement, I get out. I wouldn't identify yourself to any movement, to be honest. I would make sure that you use that language. I identify because the world, this is the world language. I identify myself as a Bible-believing believer. Yes, I go to a church and I fellowship with believers, but my life is not woven into Elim's situations. My life is not woven into the Church of England, my life is not woven into Catholicism. My life is grafted into the vine, the olive vine. So we come down. So if you trace now, we've come to the church where we sit today. So if you go back down the history line and follow it backwards, you will go, you'll come to the cross, you will come to the book of Acts, you will come to that point. The birth of the church. The church in the UK has lost its true birthplace, it has lost all understanding. This is why we are so weak spiritually. While we're more interested in lifting the Union Jack flag and the St. George's flag and the Palestinian flag over the cross of Calvary. See, when you realize where you come from, suddenly it doesn't matter what's happening in the shipping lanes. Suddenly it doesn't matter who's at number 10 Downing Street, because when you know your timeline, your family tree, because your family tree goes right the way back to Abram. That's fact. You can turn now to the book of Matthew, chapter one, and you can read the genealogy of Jesus. And if you read it backwards, where's it going to take you to? Abram. So it takes you from Abram, the blood covenant, the birth of the covenant, the blood coming all the way through the timeline, right up to where? To Jesus. Jesus fulfills it once it's been fulfilled at the cross of Calvary, because the bulls and the heifers and the sacrifices could never be done. That's why the writer writes in the New Testament one sacrifice once and for all. That's why the Bible talks about salvation comes from above. Imagine the carnage, what it would be like if God gave salvation over to the hand of the bishops, the pastors, and the leaders. They'd be selling it for 10 grand a pop. They'd be having it on their toes. They will be selling you salvation. It will be in pastor's jar, screwed at the top. Pastor will be double rich than what he's normally rich now. They will be selling salvation. That's why salvation doesn't sit in the hand of the church. Salvation can never sit in the hand of the church, it sits in the hand of the God of Israel. So when you look at our birthright and you look to where our heritage comes from, you might find a little bit of culture, but you don't actually belong to your culture. So before your culture came in, you will find your bloodline, your timeline will go back to the cross, and from the cross, you will trace it all the way back to Abram. You will trace it all the way back through. So when it's at the cross, so where is this when we talk about orthodox? What does it mean? Basically, orthodox means the true teaching without error. So our faith, if you are a Bible believing believer, you are not part of the GDPR system of the church. You are not part of the safeguarding. You are not part of the rhythm of the policies. You are not part of Rome. You are not part of the Church of England. You are not. Part of Catholicism. If you want to be that, go in, but you will be religious. And then you have to question yourself: Am I saved? Can you get saved through the Church of England? No. Can you get saved through the Pentecostal movement? No. Can you get saved through the Evangelical Alliance? No. Can you get saved through the Church of England? No. You can't get saved through a denomination. You were saved through the blood of Jesus Christ, which refers to redemption. So when you look at the church today, you take the timeline back from now, May. This May, and go back all the way back through. You will take and you will go back to the church from the church right the way back, you will go back to the book of Acts. That's where you get your timeline. Because you were bought with a blood covenant. So when you look at the church now, the church in the UK, the church's constitution, it's very interesting that all the churches could not do hardly anything, well, they couldn't do anything through COVID. Why? Because they had to look to the state church, the Church of England, that got its extra instruction from, I know some of us didn't. It got its instruction from where? Government. Where did government get its instruction from? The World Health Authority. Where is the World Health Authority one of the top men right now? He's not sunning himself in Spain. He's standing by the vessel on the shoreline, monitoring and testing the next plague that's coming to the shorelines. So when you look at it, the World Health Authority organization has the power over every government. So this is where we see the formation of a one-world government. The one world government is in the formation of the World Health Authority. So the scripture that I read out, do not conform to the pattern of the world. Jesus says, give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, give to God what belongs to God. So we're in a we're not in a crisis in the UK. If you are a Bible-believing believer, there is no crisis. Because you know who you are, you know where your identity lies. And we're not talking about the identity that the world talks about, the free toilet system. We're not talking about that that was in the schools and in workplaces. We are talking about your identity in who you are in the name of Jesus Christ. And who are you? Because if you look at the church right now, in the crisis where we sit in the UK, the Church of England cannot say anything. It cannot move because its constitution is wrapped in the monarchy and it is wrapped in number 10 Downing Street. And a lot of the laws that are wrapped up and the church wants to do, it can't, it doesn't go to Jesus. The Church of England goes to number 10 Downing Street to get, can I do this? Can I get to do that? So if you're in the Church of England, I'd walk. If you're in Catholicism, I'd walk. If you're in the Pentecostal movements, I'd walk. Come to church, but don't put your stamp in the sand that you belong to an organization because when you start putting weight on the organization and on pastors and leaders, Jesus says, don't worship man, worship me. When you look at the birth of the church, for 313 years, the church was persecuted. But then we read where it changed and it became legalized, that's where the problem hit. So the believers didn't go down the legalistic route, they carried on being persecuted. That's where we so when you look at the persecuted church now. This is why the persecuted church is growing, because you cannot legalize God. You cannot control God. You can control religion, you can control everything that goes along. So, very different this morning. Now I want to take us to the book of Acts. Let's go to the book of Acts. This is the birth of where we come from. So we have to question every denomination that we're sitting in, every area of that denomination, every one of them. What are their policies? What is binding them to government? And where are we? So when you look at this, so Acts chapter 1, for everybody online, Acts chapter 1, and you read Acts chapter 1, it tells us very clearly what Jesus gives us instruction. All the way through, it says he appeared over for 40 days and spoke to them about what? The kingdom of God. It doesn't talk about the church, because Jesus Christ is the head of the church. But the Church of England has someone at the head of the church, which is the monarch. It changed to the monarch, it it reverted from the Pope because when it split, when it came to the shorelines of the UK, then uh the king wanted to do what he did, and then he got the monarchy involved in the kingship. So when you look, who is the head of the church? The church that I follow is Jesus Christ, he's the savior of the world, he's my redeemer, he's Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi. So Jesus says very clearly, it says, after his sufferings, he showed himself, revealed himself, and gave many convincing proofs he was alive. Every other God that every other faith, I'm afraid, not afraid, so I'm quite happy to say, really, all your gods are dead. Islam is dead, the church, the Mormon church is dead. Every church is dead. It's not actually the church, it's an occult. Now, see, I I I gotta get down to the foundation of stuff because when God calls me home, when I get up there, I want him to say, Well done, good and faithful servant. I don't want him to say, Ben, why didn't you say what I told you to say? So if you're not in the kingdom, you're following Lucifer. See, you have to study the church. Where is the church sitting today? Where are the leaders of the church? I don't know. Very quiet. Probably having a conference, probably down cost, you're having a latte. And there's war breaking out, there's famine breaking out. When you look at the Vatican City, you think he's struggling for a few quid, don't you? Poor old, poor old Pope. He ain't got a few, he ain't got much money going on, has he? With all the fine art, with all the land they own, and there's people sitting at their gate begging for bread. Church of England, one of the biggest landowners in the UK. Congregations begging for bread. So when you look at this, Jesus says something really clear. I'm alive. When you look at every foreign God that I've mentioned, and I will keep mentioning, every God that is worshipped, you will find a marker somewhere in this earth where they are buried. But if you want to find Jesus, you're gonna have to die and go to heaven if you want to see him in that way. But the Bible says he's omnipresent, he's omnipotent. He's in all, he's about all, he's in the air that you breathe, he's in the fabric of your skin because you're grafted into the vine. So when you look at true Christianity, you trace it right back to where? Not the Church of England, not Catholicism, back further than Rome, it goes back to Jerusalem and Judea. Our foundation comes from a Jewish Savior, and his name is Jesus. So when you look at the celebrity church, what is going on in the celebrity church? Jesus has left the building. It's all about business, it's all about money, it's all about notoriety. Its pastor's birthday is gonna reach 50. Let's get him another murk in the name of Jesus Christ. Be careful where you go to church. You've got to fall into the scripture, and I mean fall into the word of God. There's nowhere else to go but the word of God because the Bible says I am the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. Jesus is the living word, he is the savior of the world, he is the head of the church, not the monarchy, not the Pope. So there's two churches already. We've got a monarchy that's the head of the church. So do I follow that church? Oh no, we've got that church over there. The Pope is the head of the church. So who's the church? The church that I'm in is in the kingdom, and I know who is the head of the church, and his name is Jesus, and the Bible calls him the great high priest. There is no one like Jesus. You follow the timeline. I'm telling you now, right now, your timeline of your faith and your heritage won't go to your color. It will take you to the cross of Calvary, and it will take you to Judaism, and it will take you to the King of the Jews. And his name is Jesus Christ. He is the savior of the world. He's the only one where you'll find healing. He's the only one where he will feed you when the whole world has rejected you. He's the one that will set you free because he says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Actually, I'm going to the Pope. Well, you're not, you won't get far that way. I'm going to the Canterbury. You ain't going to get far that way. I'm going to go to Eeling. I ain't going to get far that way because Jesus says, I am the way. An absolute. There are many absolutes in the Word of God. And when God through Christ says it is, it's given. I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way we can get to God is through Jesus. The only way we can get through Jesus is through God giving us salvation. So the church has no power in salvation. It has no power in giving you or me salvation. Because the Bible says salvation comes from above. Nicodemus and Jesus. How can I be born again? And the word born again, the terminology has been taken fully out of context. If the world looks at being born again Christian, they think you're going to be lying on your back, barking like a dog, and saying doing stupid things. Being born again means to be born again from above, to be given salvation, to be given the access to the Father. And the only way we got access is because Jesus Christ went to the cross, and when he went to the cross, the Bible says the temple curtain was torn in two. What was that representation? The representation was to tell you that every religion and every man's way has been ripped into, and there's only one way to get to the Father and to go through Jesus Christ. Because he is the living sacrifice, he is the first, and he is the last. He is the great I am, he is the bread of life. So every other God that is out there from every other world religion, they're dead. But Jesus says, I am alive. Now, when you take the Bible, not only do we have the Bible as evidence, we have extra biblical knowledge outside of the Word of God, where atheists have written when Jesus was walking the earth and said, It's true. They didn't believe, but they see. And they could not write anything else, but yes, he went to the cross, yes, he revealed himself, yes, I see him come back from the grave, but I don't believe. So the decision is today is where do I sit? Now it's not about coming to church, it's about being grafted in to the olive fine. It's about being grafted in because the Bible says you're grafted in, and no one can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. You cannot be separated, but there is a separation if you're in religion, you are not grafted into the vine, because religion cannot be saved. Because when you look at religion, religion is the split. 313 years after the cross of Calvary, that's when religion moved. That's when religion stood out. When man took it and thought that I know what I'm gonna do. This Christianity, that is this Jesus stuff, I'm gonna take it and I'm gonna legalize it because God can't do it himself, so it needs some help. What a crazy Roman Empire! How thick and stupid must he have been to think that he can take the savior of the world who just came back from the grave, that defied death, that created every heavenly host, and even when he created every heavenly host that is uncountable, knew that the one that he put in charge of worship would betray him and fall, he still created everything, knowing that we would foul, human beings would foul in the garden. He still brought it in because the Bible says that was for his goodwill and his pleasure. So when you think about church and religion, 313 years after the cross, a man comes along and thinks, I think God needs an help here. I think I'm gonna help God. That's he created religion. He created the satanic church. Because it's very interesting, the persecuted church grew. The persecuted church is growing at such a rate. The persecuted church has always been, as soon as Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary, as soon as he said it is finished, that was the birth of the persecuted church. And suddenly the accelerator from the Holy Spirit accelerated that in the upper room. So what is church? Church is prayer. The Bible says that the apostles gave themselves to the community. It doesn't say about taking a wage, by the way, bishops. It doesn't say that you're gonna be on 45 grand and get your own car park space and get a house down the road. When you look at what Jesus expects from a biblical leader, you give everything up. But Jesus, what are you talking about? Jesus, I need 100 grand a year. I want to go on three holidays a year, Lord. I want the congregation to worship me, Jesus. See, when you look at the timeline at 313 years after the cross, there we have the birth of the occult. We have the when you look at church today, when you look at it, the way it's driven, the way it's controlled, the way it's manipulated, we got more narcissistic leaders and preachers in pulpits with flip-flops and three-quarter jeans and singing kumbaya. Jesus didn't create that. Jesus created a church that will be persecuted. Jesus created a church that would always be on the run. Jesus didn't create a building, he created a kingdom. Jesus is not worried about this building. He's not worried about the church of England. He's not what he's not interested in any fabric of any cathedral. He's not bothered about that. He loves you. He doesn't love bricks and mortar because he actually created the bricks and mortar. He created the fibers, the trees, he created the metal that comes out of the ground, he created the cotton that is on these seats, he created everything. Jesus doesn't need a building because he owns the kingdom. He's the king. So who do we serve today? The king in the book of Acts? Or the leader of the Church of England? When you look at all the denominations, they are institutions. Now, I've been in an institution for 31 years, and suddenly you're starting to realize hang on a minute. This is you've got to be careful. So 313 years after the cross, the institution was birthed. Religion was birthed. And there we have the split. The persecuting Christians went that way, religion went that way. And then you see the split down the timeline of history. And then when it hit the shorelines, Catholicism hit the shorelines of the UK, the UK king at that time said, I ain't having none of that. I'm gonna make me own church. And he made the church of England. He wasn't anointed, he wasn't called, he wasn't a preacher, he wasn't a teacher, he was a server of Lucifer. But out of the server of Lucifer, he makes his own church. And suddenly today, we see the Roman Empire in the Church of England, we see Babylon on the streets of the UK, we see manipulation and control coming out of number 10 Downing Street. So the political temperature that we have right now is scripture. So we are in this in-between gap. So the prayer is Lord, thank you. That the next leader that is gonna get in is gonna be. We've got to be careful of the word Christian because Keir Starmer says he's a Christian, and he won't partner with the biblical Israel, and he won't stand with the Jews in London, but he will stand with the swimmers across the channel, and he will stand with every other faith, and he will stand with every other religion, and you will find he's working with them behind the scenes. But if you call yourself a Bible-believing believer, he's drawn the line in the sand. Anyone can call yourself a Christian, but the answer to that is where do your roots go? Do they go back to the crazy king in the UK, or do they go back to what that screen says up there? Israel. So if you are a Bible-believing believer, the fact and the science and the mathematics of scripture will take you not to any other denomination, it will take you back to the cross, and at the cross, you will find your heritage and yourself and your everything back in Judaism. The Orthodox movement. Let's use it like this the leader known as Jesus was a Jew. End of story. So if you believe in the Bible, I'm telling you now, your heritage and your birthright, everything bypasses all religion, and Jesus' timeline will take you to the cross, and at the cross, you will find the book of Acts 40 days later, 36 days later, after Resurrection Sunday, because that's when the birth of the church started to move. When you start to look at that, around about 36 days after the resurrection, when you look at everything, when you bring everything together, and it will take you back to Judaism, it will take you back to Jerusalem, and it will take you back to a little upper room. It don't take you to Joel Osteen on the other side of the pond. It won't take you to any other bishops, it won't take you to nothing. If you really want to know where you come from and what you believe in, it will bypass all the showmanship, it will bypass everything, and it will take you past your culture, past your color, past your creed, past everything about you, and it will take you to the cross, and from the cross to that side, you will find. I come from a Jew. And his name is Jesus. So now you look as we come to the table. We're coming to the table now. Now you look at the UK government. This is why it's critical that the government that goes in place stands with the Jewish community. Before anything else. It's important because that will show us the temperature and where they sit in their spiritual understanding. If they don't recognize the Jewish community first, first, first, we're in trouble. Now the Bible talks about us as Gentiles. It says the Gentiles are us. We are the Gentiles. We're outside of that heritage that the Jews have. But we're grafted into the olive vine. But we're grafted in, and nothing can take us out of that. So we are grafted into Israel. We're grafted into the olive vine. Nothing can separate us from that. So what we need to pray for in your own time and your prayer time, God give us a government that lifts Jesus Christ. Then they speak freely about the Jewish communities and protection and looking after. And that will bring this government in line with the biblical Israel. We need a government that is in line with the biblical Israel. Not political. We're not talking about political. What we're talking about biblically. Everything, our foundation is biblical. So our heritage, everything, you take it right back, right back to Jerusalem, to the upper room where they were gathered in prayer. We're there today. Let's hold it there. So when you look at where you come from, culture, we gotta forget culture. Because when I live by culture, I live by that rhythm. Now we have to be careful because there was a lot of language about using the word Jesus culture. Trust me, we're not, we're not that. Jesus doesn't go by a culture. You've got to be careful. A culture is in business, a culture is in we we belong to a kingdom. The kingdom is higher than a culture. So we've got to realize who we are. We are at a critical stage in the UK, a very good stage. We're at a very good stage because we need Jesus. And I'm praying that what will happen, what will happen is that this will shake up the church, the leaders of the church. And the church will come to the cross and repent, the leaders of the church, and say, Father, forgive us. We have taken the congregations away from the cross. And we've allowed the government to have a free toilet system. Brutal, innit? I've got to say it like that because we know what I'm talking about. So the government that we have today is lost. So we pray that God will give us a government that is firm in the biblical truth of Israel, stand solid with the Jewish communities, no quivering, tells the world that we partner with Israel spiritually, and we need the government that will also say we are not going back into Europe, because when we go back into Europe, we've got Genesis 11 or thereabouts again, we've got the Tower of Bow on our doorstep because we are kin to and we are joined and we are grafted into that vine, that satanic vine. So we cannot, there are a few areas that we need to pray for. God, give us a government that stands biblically with Israel, that supports and stands with the Jewish community, and also running along with all this, a government that will not sign us back to the EU. It's not trade. That's the smoke and the mirrors. That is the smoke and the mirrors. If you are a Bible-believing believer, you won't worry about the trade deals around the world. Because the scripture comes into play. My God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory. It doesn't matter how many ships are stuck in the straits out there. But we've got to be careful and we've got to pray. And no more, I would say, church prayers, not in the congregation's loose, floppy prayers from leaders. The prayers have got to be targeted. So I'm going to lead us in a prayer. We're going to take the bread and the wine, do it in your own time, and we'll go to the table. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray, dear God, that either tomorrow you will remove Keir Starmer from office and give him peace and take him to where he needs to be. Or Lord, you will save him and we will have a Christian leader in the house. But Lord, only you know the truth. So Lord, we pray for the government that's in and the government that's coming in. We pray, Lord God, that we will have a government that will lead us by biblical truth, that will believe and tell the world that we are a Christian nation, that we are not a sweet shop of other religions, that we are a Christian, Bible-believing nation that stands with the biblical Israel, that stands alongside and grafted in to the Jews, and we will not partner with the European Union. Holy Spirit, I pray that you'll give us a government that is faithful to the God of Israel. And I pray for the church across the UK. Lord, I pray for the leaders that we will be faithful to the God of Israel. And I pray for the congregations over the generations and the years that have been given wrong teachings, wrong messages, prosperity gospel, fake name it and claim it healing gospels. Father, I pray right now that we will have the word of God from every pulpit. And Lord, I pray that you will only give us anointed leaders that will lead with spirit and truth and with power and authority. And won't lead with arrogance, but will lead with the power of hope. Because as Joshua and Caleb said, our God is able. Father, bless everybody in the house today and bless everybody online. We're gonna take bread now, and I invite you online to grab yourself a bit of bread and a bit of grape juice. But let's just take this. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. We thank you for this cup that symbolizes the blood of Jesus. And Lord, as we just sit, we be still, whether we've gone ahead or we're taking it now. Father, I thank you that everything we do is about the Passover. The Passover, the passing over. Because God said the blood will be a sign. So there was a blood covenant in the book of Exodus, chapter 12, verse 13. The covenant that was made. Jesus Christ fulfilled that covenant when he said, It is finished. Father, we thank you for this cup. Lord, I realize that this is just a cup. It's nothing else but just a glass cup. And it's got nothing else in it but ribena. But what it represents is the blood of Jesus. So Lord, I thank you for this cup. And Lord, I thank you for this bread as I hold this bread. Lord, this is nothing special, it's just bread brought on Amazon. It's just bread, it's just a wafer. But what it represents, Jesus, is the body of the king of kings, the king of the Jews. So Lord, I thank you that Amazon can deliver it because it saves me a lot of work. So Lord, I thank you at the name of Jesus that I hold this bread, and Lord, it's not gonna turn into your body, and Lord, this this blood isn't this this grape juice, is wine, is not gonna turn into the blood of Jesus. It's symbolic. So Lord, I thank you that as I hold these two beautiful symbols, the bread of life and the blood, the crimson tight. Father, bless this bread as we break this bread in Jesus' name. Amen. I have to be very careful how I say this as well, because when you look at scripture, it talks about the breaking of bread, but also it talks about putting it in the putting it in there and it becomes soft. So we've got to like might have to do it again. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you, I can do it again because I'm not religious. So Lord, I thank you, Lord, as I've dipped that in there. Because when Jesus was at the Passover table, he dipped it in the cup, and he gave it to a human being. And his name was Judas, Iscariot, the betrayer. When you think about that, Jesus gave the bread that was dipped in the cup that became Sop, he gave it to Judas, and at that point the Bible says, Lucifer, Satan entered into the body. So when Jesus gave the bread, the sop to Judas, he was looking not just into the eyes of Judas, but he was looking into the eyes of Lucifer. And when you look at who was around that Passover table, Jesus said, What you're about to do, do quickly. So it's very interesting that Jesus didn't reject Judas Iscariot. But in the Catholic faith and the Church of England, if you don't jump through hoops, the priest will reject you at the altar. He will reject you. He has no right to reject you. He's an agent of Satan. Because when Jesus was around the Passover table, he broke that bread and he put it in the cup and he gave it to Judas Iscariot that sold him for 30 pieces of silver, and then the money was returned. And then Lucifer entered into the body. That tells you a lot. Bless this bread, this sock. Cover me in the blood of Jesus. Amen. There is power in the name of Jesus. And as we come to a close across the world, whatever city, whatever language you speak across the world, God bless you. 185, 186 countries across the world. God bless you. And thank you for joining us. We do appreciate everybody online and everybody in the house because we belong to the kingdom. You're at home, wherever you are, you belong to the kingdom. You're with me, we belong to the kingdom. Because we're all grafted into the vine. I pray that God will carry you. I pray that God will put food on your table. I pray that God will show you the way. Don't go to the bishops, don't come to me. Don't go to the system. Go to Jesus. Go to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. And the birth of the church was birthed out of prayer. Prayer will get you where you gotta go. Prayer will hold you where you gotta be. Prayer will open your eyes. Prayer will make a way in a concrete wall. Prayer will shape you and mold you. Prayer will lift you out of the valley of the shadow of death. Prayer will open doors that no man can open. And I will give you this last drop. In the book of Matthew, chapter 6, Jesus gives us one prayer. Start with the Lord's Prayer. Gently jump in to Psalm 91, Psalm 23. Bring those scriptures together, and then suddenly you'll find yourself living a life that is powerful. Living a life of freedom. Living a life of hope. God bless you. And we'll catch you tonight around about 9 or 10 past nine online as you join us for prayer online tonight. Let's pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, we're out of here, Lord. We're gone in the name of Jesus. And Father, we thank you that wherever we go, you are. So, Lord, I pray that we will follow your lead, that we will walk in your footsteps, and you will carry us over the hills of life, through the valleys of life, through the fears of life, through the doubts of life. And Lord, I thank you today that this is the day where there is change in the UK. And I pray again for UK Parliament that you will bless them all. Lord, that you'll save them and give them a hope in a future. I pray for the church in the UK, Lord, that you will revive us. You will revive the church and restore all the years that the locusts have taken. Strengthen us, I pray. Bless everybody online wherever you are at home. May God carry you. Everybody in the house, from the little people to the uh little bit older ones. May God bless you and carry you in the name of Jesus.
