When life gets loud, trust can feel difficult.

From a Sunday evening in London, we centre ourselves in Proverbs 3:5–6 and pray it with intention: to trust in the Lord with all our heart and to stop leaning on our own understanding when fear is demanding our attention.

This is real-life faith. We speak honestly about what many are carrying right now—anxiety, panic attacks, mental health pressure, physical pain, and the quiet fear that creeps in when you are waiting on results or trying to hold everything together for work and family. Into that reality, we pray for peace, healing, and strength.

Wherever you are—on the sofa, in the car, at work, in hospital, or lying awake at night—God meets you there.

We also bring the weight of financial pressure before God: rent, mortgages, bills, fuel, food, and debt. Instead of letting the system define your limits, we pray for a life shaped by faith, obedience, and the promise of God’s provision.

Drawing on Scripture including Joshua 1:9, Psalm 46, Romans 8, and Matthew 11:28, we remind ourselves that God is present, powerful, and near. We reflect on the story of King Jehoshaphat, where worship goes first even when the battle looks overwhelming.

We break bread together and finish with a simple but powerful prayer: ask God to lift the ceiling that has been limiting your vision—and step into the freedom He has for you.

If this prayer speaks to you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope tonight, and leave a review to help others find daily Christian encouragement.

Welcome And A Simple Scripture

Good evening, good evening. God bless you wherever you are on the other side of the world, and may the Spirit of the Living God carry each and every one of us. It is Sunday evening. It is the 3rd of May, and we're around about 19 minutes past nine live here in London, England. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you wherever you are. We're going to jump straight into the book of Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 5. Very simple text to this evening, and it is trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Father, we come to you right now. Holy Spirit in the stillness, Lord, watching online, seeing those candles just gently burning there, Lord. We come before you in the name of Jesus. Lord, it's been a crazy old day. Lord, there's lots of things happening on the other side of the world. We come before you right now, Lord. And I pray, Father God, for everyone joining us, dear God and Heavenly Father, across the world, as we lock in tonight. As we gather our thoughts and our minds and our hearts, Jesus. Help us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart. And not lean on our own understanding. Father, the world is crazy, Jesus. And we come before you, dear God, we lock shields together tonight, at this hour, wherever we are across the world. We just lock in and we stand together and we pray together. We laugh together. We cry together. Father, we come before you right now on this Sunday evening. And we stretch out and we say, Jesus, call us, Lord, just like that song was, Lord. Come, Jesus, come, Lord. Touch hearts, touch minds tonight. We pray for those that are not feeling very well. Those that are really stressed out, those that are scared and worried tonight, Lord. We pray. And we call on the name of Jesus. And we trust in the Lord with all of our heart. But sometimes, Lord, that can be really difficult. When the world is really busy and noisy, Lord. And everything is happening at once, Lord, and we've got so many plates that we're spinning. Holy God, great King that you are, we come before you at this hour. And we say, Jesus, please, God, we just pray that you will draw us closer to the rhythm of God. To the rhythm of the kingdom of heaven, Lord. Because, Lord, we don't want to trust on our own understanding, Lord. We want to trust in you, Lord. We want to grow further in our walk with you. Lord, we want to feel your presence, Lord. We want to see the hand of God in our heart and our lives and our minds. But help us to trust in you, Lord, at this hour. On this Sunday evening, Lord, we stretch out, Lord. And as that song, dear God, just gently turns over in our mind, come, Jesus, come. We need you right now. This nation is in need. We are in need of you, Lord. As a nation, as individuals, as parents, grandparents, whoever we are, we need more of Jesus in our lives and we come before you. As we just watch those candles just gently there burning, Lord. We're seeking the Father's heart tonight, Lord. Lord, on this weekend, on this Sunday night, Lord, as we gently break into May. Father, we're just watching the years quickly evaporate, the hours evaporate, the days evaporate. And Lord, we need to lean into you tonight. Lord, there are some strange things happening on the other side of the world around this nation. Lord, there are strange things happening, dear God, in certain areas of the political drive in church and in religion. But Lord, we call on the name of Jesus. And we stretch out in the stillness and we pause and we be still, Lord. Help us to breathe tonight, Lord. Help us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart. And lean not on our own understanding. We pray for everyone, Lord, that is suffering with mental health and worries and fears and doubts, ailments. We pray for healing tonight, Lord. We pray, dear God, for miracles. We pray, dear God, for miracles in our bodies, in our minds right now, Jesus. We come before you, Lord. Holy Spirit, in the stillness of this night. We lift one another up and we pray for those, dear God, that have got issues with their blood. Issues, dear God, blood counts, blood pressures. We believe in miracles. And your healing presence tonight, Lord Jesus. Your healing love and your presence, dear God, is healing. Blood count tonight. Blood diseases. That there are miracles right now, Lord. Blood pressure, we pray, dear God, for blood pressure to be perfect tonight. Holy Spirit, we just pray, dear God, for those that are stressed and their blood pressure is high. For those, dear God, that have got issues, Lord. We have livers and kidneys, we pray for miracles. We pray, dear God, for mental health tonight, Lord, that massive subject. Holy Spirit stress and anxiety. We come before our God and our King tonight, Lord. And we say, please, Lord, correct heartbeats tonight. Lord, let hearts beat perfectly. Lord, we pray for every heartbeat, every rhythm, every beat of every heart, Lord, that we will find our hearts beat imperfectly tonight, Lord. As we seek the Father's heart, we pray against anxiety and worry and fear, uncertainty, feeling scared, feeling worried about the hour, the moment, worrying about work tomorrow, worrying about life, worrying about situations before each and every one of us. Lord, we come before you and we say, Holy Spirit, will you move in our lives, Lord? Will you lead us to the cross of Calvary? Will you help us at this hour in the stillness? Father, Lord, I pray for hearts again, Lord, that hearts will beat perfectly. Blood pressure will be perfect, Lord, that the blood count, the heartbeats will be perfect. Lord, we come before you right now. Spirit of the living God. Holy God that you are, great King that you are. Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray for mental health. We pray for the mind, the brain, the thinking, the consciousness. Lord, we just stand in your presence right now. And we say, Lord, we need healings. We need miracles. Father, we need to feel the favor of God and the love of God over our lives. Let there be healing tonight, Lord. Let your presence, Lord, just cover us. We're sitting in the chair, Lord, sitting on the sofa, sitting on the patio, driving the car, laying in bed with a cup of tea. Holy Spirit, as we just pray together, we just listen, dear God, to the rhythm of God, the rhythm of the word. Holy Spirit, we call on the glory of God. Come, Jesus, come. Visit every one of us tonight, Lord. The fear and the worry of financial strain. The fear and the worry, dear God, of debt. The fear and the worry of paying the bills, paying the mortgages, paying the rent. The fear and the worry, dear God, of the diesel and the petrol and the food. The cost of living crisis, Lord, we come before you. That we will trust in the Lord with all of our heart and we won't lean on our own understanding. But you will make our path straight. We seek the heartbeat of God tonight, Lord, in the stillness, in the rhythm of worship, in the rhythm of the word, in the rhythm of Scripture. Pour out your love over each and every one of us, Lord. Let your saving grace just wash over us, Lord. Come, Jesus, come, Lord. Every house, every heart, every mind, every body, every soul, Lord. Those that are really scared. Please, Lord. Open our hearts tonight. Lord, the mental health, the worry, the fear, the doubt, feeling scared, feeling lonely, feeling worried. Remove all those thoughts in the name of Jesus. Remove those feelings, Lord. Remove those feelings of being scared of lonely. Scared of living, scared of dying. The cry tonight, Lord, is help us not to trust in our own understanding, Lord, but to walk in the presence of Jesus. But Lord, we've got to be honest, sometimes it's so tough, Jesus. Sometimes, God, it's so tough. Lord, we wake up scared, we go to work scared, we live our lives and we look and we capture the news and the social media. And Lord, why is it everyone else is living the dream but me, Lord? Why is it everyone else seems to be well and everything's okay on the other side of the fence? But Lord, in my garden, oh Lord, this trouble. Holy Spirit, we pray, Lord, that we will keep our eyes on Jesus. Keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of our faith. Help us to focus on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Help us, Lord, to take our eyes off the mountain of worry and fear. Help us, Lord, to concentrate on Scripture and just keep the prayer going, the conversation flowing. Thank you, Jesus. We ain't got to be in church, we ain't got to be in a religious box. We're at home now, Lord. We've even got the teleon in the background. Lord, we're washing up, we're cleaning, Lord, we're just buzzing around life. And Lord, we can pray wherever we are. Cooking the dinner, Lord, we can sing and we can pray. Driving the van, we can sing and pray. Holy Spirit, wherever we are right now, I thank you that you meet us where we are. That we haven't got to get to church, we ain't got to jump on the bus, we haven't got to get in the car and get to a building. Because you are the way and the truth and the life. And through the beautiful book of Proverbs, chapter 3, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, and he will make your path straight. That's enough for me tonight, Jesus. But Lord, getting into that rhythm of trust, Jesus. Getting into that rhythm of just surrendering everything over to you. Because Lord, we're living in a world that is living by science and mathematics and materialism. And by the system. Lord, we don't want to live by the system. And by science and mathematics and by materialism. Because Lord, that restricts us. That holds us at a low ceiling level. Lord, we want to soar on wings as of eagles. Lord, we want to feel the healing presence of God in our bones. We want to feel the love of God over our lives. So Lord, I pray that we won't live by the system. We won't live by the rhythm of number 10. Lord, that we won't live by the rhythm of work. That we won't live by the rhythm of what the world says, but that we will live by the heartbeat of God. Because Lord, there is abundant life out there, Lord. Lord, you tell us there is an abundant life. And Lord, we find that we get restricted when we're in church. Lord, when we're in church, Father, there is a restriction because it's very religious, very systematic, Lord. And Lord, I thank you that when you went to the cross, Jesus, the church didn't exist. I thank you for that, Lord. Holy Spirit, Lord, I thank you that you're not calling us to church. You're calling us to walk by faith, to trust you in every area of our life. You're calling us, dear God, just like that song does. Come Jesus, come. As we call you, you're calling us. Thank you that Jesus is calling. Jesus is calling you tonight. If you're living in the UK, we are living in a right old skip. You know, oh Lord, we need a bit of recycling in number 10 Downing Street, Lord. It's a little bit smelly. Oh Jesus, it's a bad old nation, Jesus. It's like living in a skip, Lord. It's full of rubbish. Lord, and we just pray, dear God, that we won't live by the way of the world, Lord. Lord, that we'll get out of the skip and we'll live in freedom. Lord, that we'll live by the promises of God. We'll live by the rhythm of the word. I honestly believe God's word with all of my fiber of my innermost being. I believe from Genesis to revelation that God's word is without error. But if we can just live, if we can just stretch out, get out of the system, get out of the humdrum rhythm of the monotony of getting up for work, getting home from work, washing machine, iron, M25, A2, a little bit of blue water, but Holy Spirit help us. Lord, we don't want to bounce on the trampoline of monotony. We want to live in abundance, Lord. Lord, we don't want to live by the value that's in our purse and in the wallet. We don't want to live by the what we get paid. Because Lord, that is a restrictor. Lord, we want to live in abundant life. We want to live in complete healing. Lord, we want to live in complete wellness. Lord, we want to feel, dear God, that we're living an abundant life. Holy Spirit, I pray right now that we will live in abundance. That we will live in freedom. That there is healing in our bones. Hearts are being healed. Minds are being strengthened. Anxiety. Oh God, we speak to that anxiety, Lord. Those panic attacks that just come in like a wave. The panic and fear that just makes our body beat and just feel very odd. That panic that comes in, where our brain just is completely fogs over. And we can't react and we can't think and we go into a panic mode. Father, remove the panic and the fear for anyone tonight that is worrying about their health, worrying about their finances, worrying about their life. Take all the worry away, Lord. Take all the fear away, Jesus. Come, Jesus, come. Fill our hearts afresh. Lord, help us to do as the writer of Proverbs clearly tells us. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Jesus, that is a serious rhythm. Because Lord, we seem to hold back, Lord, because the system of the world seems to be so loud. And sometimes God. Sometimes, Jesus, it feels really quiet, Lord. So quiet it can be scary where we doubt ourselves. And we say, Help, Lord. And all we hear is the war cry. Lord, all we see are the crazy leaders across the world. Lord, all we hear, dear God, is the social media feed. Holy Spirit, all we hear, dear God, is the rhythm of monotony. The commute run, the school run, the shopping, the cleaning, the ironing, the cleaning of the windows. Oh Jesus. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that you will give us the faith to live by faith. That you will give us the faith, Lord, to believe that we're well. To believe that mental health is healed. We pray for every mind tonight, every mind that is worrying about the cost of living. The food, the electric, the gas. We pray, dear God, for the mental health, Lord, that just comes out of nowhere. Lord, the sound, dear God, sometimes the roar in our heads is so loud and so strong and so powerful. And that panic attack that just rises. Lord, it's it's uncontrollable sometimes, Jesus. It's scary, Lord. Holy Spirit, Lord, we thank you that that is decreasing and faith is increasing. Lord, I pray that we won't live by our head. Our mind and our thinking that we'll live by the heart. So Lord, bring us in line with the word of God. Bring every one of us, Lord, recalibrate our thinking. Lord, adjust me, adjust us, Lord. Because Lord, there is abundant life in the Word of God. There is abundance of healing, of prosperity, of help, blessings and miracles. Oh God, I pray that we will be like Joshua. Joshua chapter 1, verse 9. Be strong and courageous. Holy Spirit, help us to be strong and courageous. Sometimes, dear God, we don't know how to be. We get lost, dear God, in the rhythm of the world, the noise and the chaos of life. Lord, we don't want to get lost in the noise and the chaos of life, Lord. We want to feel the heartbeat of heaven, the Lion of Judah, the great I am. You are the bread of life. You are the good shepherd. The way, the truth, and the life. And right now, Lord, we believe in healing. Lord, I pray for all those that have got pain at this moment. Pain, dear God, pain in their body, pain in their mind. Chest pains, back pains, legs, arthritis, sciatica. Holy Spirit, we pray for those that just feel under the weather because of the pressure of life. Those that just can't concentrate and focus. Heart conditions, we pray for new lungs tonight, Lord. We pray, dear God, that bones will be healed. That you will restore, dear God, all the years that the locusts has taken. That there will be a restoration. That there will be a restoring. A restoring, dear God. I thank you, Lord, that we're in the process of being restored. Lord, I pray for those that are scared about their health, worried about the results from the doctors and the consultants. We pray that you will remove that worry. And Father Lord, that you will put hope and faith into those hearts tonight, Lord. Lord, we pray for migraines. Lord, we pray for eyesight and hearing. Speech impediments, we pray, dear God, for confidence tonight. We pray for those that feel, Lord God, that their confidence has been taken out of them. Those that just feel, dear God, that they're they don't know what to say and they don't know what to do. Holy Spirit, lead tonight. Lead us by your grace. Lead us by your mercy. Come, Holy Spirit, we need you in the nation in which we live. We need healing tonight. Lord, we pray, dear God, for arthritis to go. Sickness to go, fear to go, doubt to go, heart disease to be reversed, lungs, dear God, to excel. Expand. We pray for hearing tonight. Lord, I pray for healing and hearing. Vision, we pray for vision tonight, Lord. Holy Spirit, Lord, vision is so critical, Lord. But Lord, also physical vision and spiritual vision. Lord, as we live our lives by perception, the very basic understanding of a human being, by smell, touch, sight, and hearing, by what we perceive, the natural reaction of the body. Lord, I pray that we will live outside of what we perceive, what we touch, what we feel, and what we see. And we will live by faith. And we will believe for that healing. We will believe for that miracle. That we won't give up, Lord. Holy Spirit, that we'll be like a dog with a bone. Or he didn't put that very churchy, did he? Holy Spirit, that we will be like Jacob that went to God and he wrestled with God and he said to God, I'm not gonna let you go. Lord, we're not gonna let you go. We're gonna hold on to you. Lord, we're gonna wrestle with you till we get the miracle. And Lord, we say to ourselves, How can I wrestle this invisible God? I can't see him. I can't touch him. I want to see him. I want to touch dear God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I want him to show up in my life. I want to see the physical Jesus. Jacob had the privilege of wrestling with the God of Israel. The disciples had the privilege of walking with the physical Jesus. But us, Lord, we've got to live by faith, Jesus. It's tough, God. We've got to be honest tonight, Jesus, it's tough. Lord, we go to church and it's all noise. It's all Razumatazz, Father. It's all it's all that churchy stuff, Lord. And we just want to see Jesus. We just wanna we just wanna walk with Jesus. Lord and Jacob, he wrestled with you. And he said, I'm not gonna let you go until you bless me. Holy Spirit. We're wrestling with you right now, Lord. But it feels like Lord, sometimes you're not there, God. And we're wrestling the the air around us. We're wrestling life itself. Where are you, Jesus? The cry is God, where are you? Lord, I'm I'm at work and where are you? Holy God, where are you? I'm sitting in the doctors, I'm in the queue, Lord. I'm I'm waiting for some results. God, where are you? I'm scared. Lord, I'm sitting in church and the preacher's rattling on. Where are you, God? Lord, I'm in the van, I'm crying on the way to work. I'm at the bus stop, Lord. I don't want to go to work. I don't want to go to school today, God, and I've got no choice, Lord, and I feel really run down. God, where are you? Holy Spirit, where are you? Holy Spirit, when the birth of the church came into existence, you came into that room. The 120 that was sitting there in prayer experienced the Holy Spirit, like never seen it be seen across the world. The Holy Spirit descended, and it was like tongues of fire sitting and resting on each and every one of them. The Holy Spirit was just resting on them. Lord, we read all these Bible stories, we hear of all these great moves of God, and Lord, sometimes we feel alone, Jesus. But Lord, the reality is the understanding is that you're in our heart, you're in the skin that we walk in. You're with us. Just like this morning in church with Meshach, Shamrach, and Abendigo. You're in the fire with us. But Lord, the system tries to tell me you're not around. Science tries to tell me you're not around, Lord. Education and work and life, money. Materialism tries to tell me that you're not in an existence. So Lord, that tells me where I am because I fix my eyes on such a low level of life. And I'm not doing what the Proverb writer tells me to do. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. And he will make your path straight. So Lord, I'm starting to understand it's about speaking to you in the quiet times. Just knowing that you're there. And having that conversation with you as I sit in a doctor's surgery. Sit in a hospital bed tonight, Lord. In prison, in the van, in culture, at work, sitting at the desk, laying on the bed right now, and just saying, Jesus, I need to feel your presence. Lord, reveal yourself. Reveal yourself, Holy Spirit. Help us to be strong and courageous. Help us to be like Joshua, to be strong and courageous and never give up. And have courage to live in abundance. Lord, you tell us through Psalms 46, verse 1, God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Lord, you are our refuge and you are our strength. So Lord, as I pray and as I read these scriptures through, as I make them a life application, as I speak this word over to my autonomy, Lord, over my body, over my life. I say, Come, Jesus, come. Holy Spirit, reveal yourself. The God of Israel, reveal yourself to each and every one of us. We call you down into the arena tonight, God. We call you down into our lives, Lord, and say, Jesus, show up. Come on, God. Reveal yourself. Reveal yourself in the kitchen. Reveal yourself, dear God, in every room of our life. Reveal yourself in the van. Reveal yourself right now as we're walking down the road. Reveal yourself right now in this church as we sit on the edge of the bed, on the sofa. Lord, reveal yourself. Reveal yourself, Jesus. Come, Holy Spirit. Lord, we need you. You are a way maker. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Spirit of the living God. I pray that we won't lean on our own understanding. And in the anxious thoughts and in the anxious way that we may live, I pray, Father, that we will not be anxious about anything. But in everything, we will come to the cross of Calvary. And we'll just say, Jesus. But then, Lord, I hear myself having a conversation with myself and saying, Lord, I keep praying, but where are you? I keep praying the same prayer over and over and over and over again. That's good. That's the correct thing to do. Every word, every syllable, every full stop, the way we pronounce, the way we speak. God is answering prayers. God is with you right now. It might not feel like it, but I'm telling you now, God is in your life. Jehovah Jairah is with you. Jehovah Nissi. Jehovah Shalom. Yahweh. The great I am is in your life. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. The Father. The Son and the Holy Spirit is in your life. Shall we pray that God will get us to live in abundance? Do you want to live in abundance? Do you want to live free? Away from the system? Away from the Antichrist in number 10. Do you want to live free? Do you want to be out of the system and just living an abundant life? Should we pray a miracle over our lives? We pray. God, we're praying for new beginnings. We're praying for miracles right now. Lord, we don't want to live in the way of the world, the way of the system. Lord, we've lived in the system for too many years, and Lord, it fouls us. Lord, it trips us up. Lord, it's trying to pull us to pieces. The system, Lord, isn't working. Lord, the system is broken. And Lord, we're not going to live by the system. We're going to live by the kingdom. And right now, Lord, we're going to live by the kingdom, the king's domain. And Lord, we we thank you that we're healed. Lord, we've been praying this prayer a long time. We're healed in the name of Jesus. Lord, we've been praying this prayer a long time. Father, thank you for the abundant life. Lord, we've been praying this prayer for many years. Yes, Lord, all things are possible to those who believe. So Lord, we are living in abundance. Our bodies are healed. Our minds are healed. Father, we're not going to go in the mindset how the world tells us to go. Father, we're not going to go in the way of the rhythm of social media, the rhythm of life. Lord, we're not going to live our lives how the world expects us to live. We're going to live in freedom. We're going to live in freedom in the name of Jesus. Lord, I thank you that there is a new beginning for every one of us. There is a new sunset, dear God. Lord, there is a new mountain range. Lord, there is a new walk. There is a new beginning. There is a new life. There is a new hope. Lord, there are promises. The promises of God are yes and amen. And Lord, we walk in the promises of God. We walk in the stability of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. And right now, Lord, we're calling on the name. We're calling on that name, Jesus. Oh Jesus, Father, we want to feel that abundant rain. We want to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord, as we stand in the kitchen right now, Lord, we're in the vehicle right now. Lord, we're in the takeaway right now. Lord, we're just sitting on the bed right now. Lord, we're just contemplating life right now. We're just scrolling through the socials right now. Holy Spirit, we need your mercy and your grace. We need your favor. And Lord, there is favor over our lives. Lord, just remind us of the book of Romans 8. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Neither height nor depth, nor famine nor sword, nakedness nor peril. In the earth under the earth. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So Lord, just remind me of that love tonight. Just remind me of that John 3.16. Just remind me, dear God, of that outside biblical knowledge. Uncountable books, Jesus, that have been written about a man that went to the cross. Just remind me, Lord, about the historians that have written about a man called Jesus Christ that healed the sick. Just remind me, Lord, about the outside biblical knowledge that you live this earth. And then, Lord, just remind me of the greatest book the world has ever seen. The Holy Word of God. Just remind me of that John 3.16 moment, Lord, when I'm having a bad hair day. For God so loved the world. Just remind me, Lord, that your love is greater than fear. Your love is greater than pain. Your love is greater than doubt. Your love is greater than death. Lord, just remind me of that love. And just remind me, Lord, that that love is unconditional. When I foul, when I get worried and scared. That love is never taken away from me. You love me, Lord, when I don't even go to church. You love me, Lord, when I don't get it right. You love me, Lord, when I make mistakes. You love me with my potty mouth, with my attitude. You love me, dear God, with all the scars, with all the wounds. You love me, Lord, because the cross tells me so. You love me, dear God, unconditionally. You love me, Lord, when I go down the wrong cul de sac of life. You love me, Lord, when I make a hasty decision. You love me, Lord, when I I don't call you and speak to you as I should. You love me, Lord, when I get it wrong. You love me, Lord, when I when I foul, when I act in anger and frustrated and throw me toys out of the Pram. You love me, Jesus, when I get frustrated with life. Because your love is unconditional, Lord. And the Bible says nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So Lord, through this prayer hour, for this time, dear God, of just talking to you, I thank you, God, that I don't even need to be in church. That's a blessing in disguise. So, Father, I ask you that you will remove the guilt away of not getting to church enough. The guilt, dear God, of not getting into the building. Because Lord, that's irrelevant. Because you loved us before the buildings come into existence. You loved us before Elium and the Pentecostal movement ever come into being. You loved us before Catholicism, before the Church of England. Before any building was constructed. You went to the cross of Calvary. And Father, those books, those uncountable books outside of the Word of God that said that there was a man, his name was Jesus. He fed the poor. He clothed. He protected. He welcomed in the despised, the lepers, those that the system rejected. God loves me. God loves you. Jesus Christ is in your life right now. Sometimes it feels like he's not, but he is. And deep down we know. But the mind is so used to the system. Following the system, following the way of culture and life. And we get trapped in such a tiny parochial stretch of life. Such a little area. We live in such a small radius of life. Because the system has told us that you'll never grow. You'll never achieve. You just got to be a slave to the system. You got to be a slave to number 10 Downing Street. Pay your taxes. Shut up and get on with it. Holy Spirit, Lord, we don't belong to the system that says shut up and get on with it. We belong to the kingdom of God that says there are promises beyond the system of number 10 Downing Street. Lord, we belong, dear God, to the kingdom, not a system. We belong to the healer. We belong to the God of Israel. So Lord, tonight, Lord, we're not going to live by the system that tells us to shut up and get on with it. We're going to live by the kingdom that says, come on. All things are possible to those who believe. All things are possible to those who believe. Lord, I ask you right now that you will help us to start believing. Believing, dear God, beyond the system of life, beyond, dear God. Lord, help us to believe that we're going to be well. Help us to believe, God, that we can do all things through Christ that gives us strength. Help us to believe, Lord God, that we're not going to be slaves to the system, but we are slaves to righteousness. So Lord, I pray, Lord, that we will find our identity in the kingdom of God. And Lord, help us to realize that the system crushes our identity, that the system puts a chain on our ankles. The system of number 10 Downing Street will tell you you can't achieve. As we started out in Proverbs 3. Trust in the Lord of all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. And he will make your path straight. Father, we're going to live in abundance and we're going to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. We're going to give to number 10 what belongs to number 10. They can jog on in the name of Jesus. And we're going to rise up on wings as of eagles. And we're going to live an abundant life. We're going to live in freedom. We're not going to live in fear of who's opening the straits of Humas. The shipping lanes, Lord. We're not going to listen to who says they own it. We're not going to allow that to affect our lives, Lord. We're not going to worry about the price of the barrel of oil because my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory. God, you know I need fuel to get to work this week. Come on, God. Lord, you know, dear God, that I got to put food in the children's belly. Come on, God. You know, Lord, I got to pay the oyster card and I've got to get into London. Come on, God. Lord, you know, dear God, that I got to pay the mortgage. Come on, God. You know, dear God, I'm struggling to pay the rent and the bills. Come on, God. Reveal yourself. Reveal yourself, God. Lord, we're gonna give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. The system can carry on. But I'm gonna live by faith. I'm gonna believe I'm healed. I'm gonna believe that I'm living an abundant life. I'm not gonna allow myself to be crushed by the weight of the world. I'm not gonna be crushed by number ten. I'm not gonna allow the political drive to scare me. I'm not gonna live in fear anymore. I'm not gonna live by the way they want me to live. Because I'm not a slave, dear God, to no human being. I'm not a slave, dear God, to the system of the world. I'm a child of the living God. I'm born again, I'm spirit-filled. I'm healed at the name of Jesus. My God is my refuge and strength. My God is calling us to be strong and courageous. My God is telling us not to fear through Isaiah 41:10. God, you're calling us not to be fearful. Because you tell us that you are with us, that you will strengthen us and help us. So, Lord, we're gonna rise up tonight. We're gonna rise out today. And Lord, we're gonna stand on the rock of all ages. Lord, and we're gonna praise our way through to victory. Lord, we're gonna be like King Josaphat when the enemy was coming over the hill. Three different types of enemies, three enemies were coming to take Joseph out. And he tore his clothes and he laid face down on the floor and he cried out to the God of Israel. And he prayed. And God spoke to him. And he told him to be obedient. He said, Don't worry about the enemy. Just focus on me. Don't worry about how large the army is, just focus on me. Don't listen to the politicians, focus on me. Don't listen to what the healthcare is saying about your body. Just listen to me. Don't listen to the sound of the political language. Listen to me. Don't worry about what the world is saying about you. You listen to me. Father, I pray that we will listen to you. And Lord, that we will be like Josaphat, King Josaphat. But he cried out to God. And he listened to what God said. And he followed the simple instruction of what God told him to do in the crisis. When the enemy was coming in like a flood, when the enemy was larger than himself, he cried out to God. And he said, God, we're not going to survive this. The enemy. Lord, this enemy is three times larger than what we are. We're not warriors, we're not fighters. And God went, That's correct. I want you to worship me. I want you to worship me, Josaphat. I want you to lift your voice in crisis and praise my name. And Joshua told the nation, This is what we're gonna do. We're gonna fast and we're gonna pray. And we're gonna worship the God of Israel. But the nation around him said, Do you know what's coming over the hill? The enemy, three different types of enemies are coming to take us out. Joshua, Joshaphat, I should say, said, God has told me to fast and pray. And he called a fasting and a prayer time over the nation. The whole nation didn't lift up a Union Jack flag. They didn't march in the center of London. They fasted and they prayed. They didn't send emails in to number 10 Downing Street and the satraps and the prefects just press the delete button. They don't even read them. They didn't send emails in, they didn't send letters in. They just listened to what God was telling them to do. See, we're in the face of adversity, but the psalmist writes in Psalms 46, verse 1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We're gonna come to the table. We've got about 10 minutes left of this service, and we're gonna break bread together in just a few moments. Grab yourself a bit of bread and a bit of grape juice, and we're gonna break bread. So King Josaphat he listened to the instruction and he done what God told him to do. The nation fasted and prayed. And then God said, The enemy's at the door. And Joshua Joshaphat said, What shall we do? Shall I send out the army? God said no. What shall I do then, God? He said, Send out the worshippers. What do you mean, send out the worshippers? Go down to the battle line, singing and praising the name of the God of Israel. Joshaphat told the nation just to lift up the name of Jesus, Yahweh, God, and to sing at the top of their voice. The Bible says that they went down to the battlefield singing and praising the God of Israel. No guns, no bullets, no spears, no swords, no shields, but pure worship. See, I believe the church in the UK has lost the understanding of true worship. When we worship the God of Israel, God has to destroy the work of the enemy. And the nation went down to the battlefield singing and praising. And they went, and as they got round the corner, the Bible says that the three enemies that was coming to grab them was fighting amongst themselves. God turns it around. The Bible says that the enemy destroyed themselves. This is what happens. See, the enemy always overplays their hand. And the enemy turned on each other. Just be faithful in worship. Just be faithful in instruction. When the enemy seems so loud and overpowering, don't listen to what they're doing and what they're gonna do. Because they will turn in on themselves and they will destroy themselves. Because the Bible says the battle belongs to the Lord, and we don't need to fight. The Bible says that our battle isn't against flesh and blood, but against principalities in heavenly realms. So as God told Josh, King Josaphat, listen to the instruction, follow the instruction, and you'll have the result that you need. Father, I pray that we will follow instruction of the word of God, and we will not come out of the word of God. No matter if we if we hear the sound of the enemy's voice, even if we smell the breath of Goliath bearing down at us, we will never stop worshiping Jesus. There comes a point when we have to go into the enemy's territory. And we have to stand strong and bold in the name of Jesus. And we're gonna break bread right now. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, help us to be like King Josaphat, that cried and prayed, but then got up and went on instruction. So Lord, I pray for every one of us tonight that we will know the instruction that is over our lives. And as we come to you, Lord, in the close of this service, I thank you, dear God, that we are going in instruction in the Word of God. So Lord, now I can see why the church is in so much trouble in the UK. Because it's come away from instruction and it's making its own rhythm up. So Lord, I thank you that you meet us where we are. And Lord, all you're asking us to do is just to follow the word, and then we'll have abundant living, abundant life. Father, I thank you that we don't need money. We need faith. I thank you, Lord, that we don't need number 10 Downing Street. We need faith. I thank you, Lord, that we're not relying on our job for abundant living. We're relying on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Lord, we're not gonna rely on the state anymore. We're gonna live a new way. We're gonna live by faith. We're gonna call the things that are not as though they are. We're not gonna live by panic attacks. We're not gonna live, dear God, by doubt and being scared. We're gonna live in the joy of the Lord. We're gonna live in the stability of the word and we're gonna keep speaking that word until the devil flees. We're gonna keep speaking that word over our lives, over our hearts, over ourselves. Lord, we're gonna keep in the instruction. And God is calling us right now to the table. He's calling us through the beautiful book of Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Are you close to burnout? Are you close to exhaustion? Do you need spiritual rest? Just lift your eyes. Look to the ceiling. Look beyond the ceiling. Focus on that ceiling right now. It's just a white ceiling. But look through it. Look through the ceiling. Look through the roof of your home. Look up to the heavens. David says, Where does my help come from? My help comes from above, above the ceiling. See, we live our lives always by a ceiling. And we look at the ceiling, and the ceiling is a restrictor. We can't see the sun shining outside because the ceiling's there. And the world is so much bigger on the other side of the ceiling. But we live our lives just with a ceiling on top of us. And we get used to having a ceiling, a leveler. But there is something on the other side of the ceiling. It's called eternity, it's called freedom. It's called hope. See, we always put a ceiling level on every situation. And if you just take your eyes off the ceiling right now, you can still see the ceiling even though you're not looking at it. Because it's there. And it limits us. Ask God, Lord, remove the ceiling. I don't want a limit her in my life. I don't want to look at this white ceiling anymore. I want to look at the kingdom. I want to look through that. Come on, let's break bread. Father, in the name of Jesus. We break bread right now. Thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. And as we take this cup right now, thank you, Holy Spirit, that this symbolizes the blood of Jesus. Holy God, wherever we are on the other side of the world, we break this bread and we take this cup. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Father, we thank you that we're able to break bread at home, to take it a cup at home, in a field, in a van, in a car, at the airport, at work, at school, at a desk. Because Lord, there is no ceiling in the kingdom of God. There is only freedom. See, there is freedom, but we build ceilings and we build boxes and we live in boxes and we limit ourselves. Let's ask God, Lord, lift the ceiling. I want to see beyond the ceiling. I want to see in the glory. I believe healing is over your life tonight. I believe miracles are over your life tonight.
