The news can make you feel like the world is spinning off its axis, but we keep coming back to a steadier question: who is Jesus? When fear is fed by politics, media cycles, and constant crisis language, we believe the antidote is not another hot take, but a clearer view of Christ and a simpler, more honest kind of faith.

We walk through key Bible passages that put Jesus at the centre of everything: Genesis 1 and creation, Colossians 1:15–20 and the supremacy of Christ, and John 1 where Jesus is revealed as the Word who was with God and was God. Along the way, we talk about how church structures can get distracted by systems, personalities, and public battles, and why we think the UK church needs to be stripped back to the cross, the resurrection, and the living reality of Jesus as head of the church.

This isn’t only theology. We connect it to real life: spiritual warfare, the pressure of constant information, and the cost of living fears that hit homes week by week. We pray in plain language for provision, strength, and peace, and we end at the communion table with a reminder that redemption is not an idea but a person. If you’re tired, anxious, or fed up with religion that feels hollow, come and re-centre with us on the character of Jesus.

Welcome And Prayer Requests

SPEAKER_00

Good morning and welcome. If anyone wants to light a candle through the service, please go and do that. Please do that. If you've got any prayer requests, put them online. They will get picked up. If anyone wants to send an email in, please do that. We will pick your emails up for your prayers and everything. You know, when we look at the world, you know, where do we go to in scripture? Where do we go to? You know, we're coming through, coming out of the Talenda, Passover, and everything that's going along with that, and everything that's just moving through what we've been looking at, the cross and and the Passover and the seasons and the rhythm of life. When we see what's happening around the world, very interestingly, you watch the political uh arena happening at the moment, the financial arena, you watch the monarchy, the situations breaking out in certain areas of life. You know, very interesting since uh the blonde-haired leader from the other side of the pond decided to get together that bald of peace, it seems like all hell has broke loose. And the bald of peace, the members have disappeared somewhere. You know, it's just like you you've got to watch the strategy of what the world is doing. So, whatever the world does, we do the opposite. We don't conform to the pattern of the world. But I honestly believe, forgive me, maybe I might have got this a little bit wrong this morning. I believe the UK church doesn't really know who Jesus is. And I mean that with the greatest respect in the world. And what I mean by that is that we've been driven by so much. I'm not talking about anybody online, I'm not talking about the human beings before me. I'm talking about the structure and the system of church. It has lost the form understanding of the deity. So where we sit at this moment in time, we are watching, you know, so much happening under the under a seven-day cycle. And then we say to ourselves, well, well, where where is the church of the UK? Where is the church? Again, not talking about the the congregations, we are referring to the the structure and the leaders. Where where is the church among amongst this? Uh, you know, Canterbury puts out, you know, it puts out a couple of little statements that are far off the wall, and then they disappear back into their foxholes again. You know, it's just it's just like the political area of life. So we gotta we gotta find out who this Jesus is and who is this Jesus? Where is this Jesus? When you look at the social medias and you listen to what's happening in different cultures, you you find even on the streets that many people are trying to tell you that Jesus isn't who the Bible says he is, and there is so many different versions of Jesus right away through every different faith, everything under the sun. So I really believe it's time for that for the believer now to actually find out who is this Jesus. And through these 15, 20, 30 minutes that I'm just gonna be opening these scriptures, I'm never gonna be able to tell you, you know, it it is far beyond because it is revealed, and that is what is so powerful. Religion and education educates, God reveals. So education is limited, education has a ceiling level. Each and every one of us has a ceiling level of education, of understanding, of working things out, what the brain can cope with, what we can understand, and what we can't understand with. But then when you follow Jesus, suddenly you find that the Spirit of God starts to stir you. When when you start to find who is this Jesus? So, where do we go? Where do we start this this look, this quick-fired look for a moment? Every scripture, wherever I've looked this morning, there is Jesus everywhere. So I've just picked out Genesis. Let's just turn to Genesis chapter one for a moment, and then we're gonna turn to the book of Colossians. You know, when you look at creation, creation is fundamental in the church. It cre uh creation has to be taught, and what I mean by that, it has to be taught in a way where when we look at it, you see Christ is revealed through creation. Christ is at the very beginning of time, the Holy Spirit is at the very beginning of time, and we understand there is around about uh 63,000 cross-reference from the old to the new and the new to the old, referring, you know, bringing it all together. So, who is this Jesus? Who is Jesus to you? That is the question I've got for myself. Who is Jesus to me? I'll ask I'll ask this a rhetorical question to everyone, you know, whether you're online, who is Jesus? Where do we find Jesus? Do we need to go to church on a Sunday? Do we need to go to a certain meeting to find this Jesus? Jesus is omnipresent, Jesus is omnipotent, he is and always about all. And it is too big for the human mind and the concept to understand who this Jesus is. But I actually believe the UK church across the structure, it has got so caught in GDPR, HR, you know, HR, you know, basically I understand what HR means in the corporate world. It means hell is real, because that's what it's actually like. HR offices, you know, they're so brutal, you know. Oh, I've got to go into hell this morning. I've got, oh, they're gonna tell me this, they're gonna tell me that, don't do this, don't do that. Hell is real. That's what HR stands for. You know, so when you look at what's going on, we've got GDPR, we got HR, we got this policy, that policy, we must follow this, we must follow that in business and in and when you look at the corporate world, when you look at the corporate world, the the the religious understanding follows so much to do with the corporate world. So we have lost the touch point of Jesus. So who is Jesus? When Jesus is on the shoreline of Galilee, he just said, just believe. But who do and what do I believe in? Is the turt is the church, sorry, is the church speaking and teaching Jesus the fundamental points. What are the fundamental points? The birth, the death, the resurrection, and the second coming of Jesus, just those basic areas, you know, of the second coming of Jesus. But when you look in Genesis, if you were to study Genesis and to take Genesis and have a look at it, straight away you see Christ, you see the Holy Spirit, you see God all the way from Genesis to the to the last book of Revelation. And I really believe Jesus is calling. Jesus is calling you. He's not calling you to church, he's not calling you to religion, he's not calling you to jump and to get into this house, he's not he's calling you to be a follower, follower of Jesus, to follow Jesus. As simple as it is, it is so simple. But church and religion, and when you look at the major religions around the world, you look at the Pentecostal movement, you look at Catholicism, and then you look at the Church of England, when you look at those three categories, we've made it complicated. I don't want to go to church. What am I going to go to church for? What am I doing? What is church gonna give me? What is church actually gonna give me? It is Jesus that gives you everything. He says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. So let's just look in the book of Genesis, chapter one, and straight away we get God for four words in. In the beginning, God. So we get God straight away. And as you start to unfold the fabric of the text and you start to go through, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was hovering over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God, straight away, straight away, we we got the deity starting to move, starting to reveal itself. And I want to tell you this morning, Jesus is calling you. God is calling you, the Holy Spirit is calling you wherever you are. He's not calling you to church, he's not calling you to another meeting, he's not calling you to another crusade, he's not calling you to another revival, he's calling you just to follow Jesus. To keep it simple, we've got to ask God, Lord, will you strip the church back in the UK? Strip it back of the pointy hats, strip it back of the staff, strip it back of the craziness, strip it back of religion, and Father, get us to the cross. The cross, when you look at the cross, the cross is fundamental to what we believe in. The cross is everything because the cross represents salvation, justification, hope. And when you look at the cross, it it links the old to the new, the new to the old. It is the link point. So when you look at the cross, cross it, the cross is so powerful. It's an empty cross, it's an empty grave, there's an empty crypt. So the three destinational points that were written in scripture that Christ had to hit, first, second, and the third, when you look at those, they've been hit. You've got the birth of Jesus, that prophecy has been fulfilled. And then you look at Christ coming to the earth through the through the birth, that's been fulfilled. So that number one has been done. And then you look at Christ growing up, that's been fulfilled, as the scriptures have said. And then we get to the next really powerful part. You know, we're from the garden to the cross when he's when he's uh being crucified, and then so you've got the birth, the crucifixion, then you've got the resurrection, and then after the resurrection, you've got ascension day that we're getting around about that sort of time. So when you look at the ascension, he he ascended, he was he was taken up beyond outside of human eyesight. That's when he said on the cross in a twinkling of an eye, you'll be with me in paradise. So who is this Jesus? What are the children being taught at school? Are the children being taught across the board? There might be pockets, but are the children being taught of who Jesus Christ is? Every other God and the gods that they're being taught, the gods that they are being shown and spoken about are dead. Actually dead, gone. There are markers, there are markers. You only got to go and Google, and you can find through Google Earth, you can beam down and you can find where they're buried, and they got shrines, and they got this and they got that, and they got gatherings and they got statues. But the grave is empty. The crib is empty, the crib. He's not in the crib, he's not on the cross, he's not in the grave, he's seated at the right hand of the Father. So, who is this Jesus? He is salvation, he is redemption. The book is about redemption and creation. And when I look at what's going on, and when I see it says, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now let's turn to the book of Colossians. Let's take it steady this morning. Take it nice and steady. Let's turn to the book of Colossians, and as you turn to the book of Colossians, uh, chapter one, now Colossians chapter one, verse 15. If you turn to the book of Colossians, chapter 1, verse 15, and I've mentioned this more times than than I've had at dinners. You go from 15 to 20, if you study that, Colossians chapter 1, verse 15 to 20, he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created, things in heaven and things on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers, rulers or authorities. Then we come to a bit more, goes a little bit deeper. And it says, All things were created by him. Now in Genesis, it says God created the heavens and the earth. So here we have a connection with the Father and the Son. So when you look at the deity, what is the deity? I honestly believe, and now please, I'm being absolutely respectful to every congregation under the sun. It is the the leaders, the leaders have taken us away from what? From Jesus. I'm afraid to say the majority of church has taken us away from Jesus. Taken us away from Israel. Right at the very kick point, God is talking about Israel. He's not talking about Great Britain, he's not talking about America, he's not talking about any other Singapore, he's not talking about any other nation but Israel. Israel is fundamental to my belief. Whatever I say, I believe in the biblical Israel. I do not stand with any politician, I do not stand with any party, I do not agree with politics one iota. I believe in the word of God because the word of God was behit was here before any political arena came in. So when you look at the political language, when you look at it now between Iran and America, is the lane open? Is it open? Is it closed? Where are you? What are you doing? They are playing table tennis with words. We cannot indulge and we cannot allow ourselves to get absorbed into political language. The political language is shallow and empty. Political talk is shallow and empty. If I follow the political rhetoric that is across the world, I will get depressed, I will get scared, I will get worried, and I will be given so many lies, it will be unbelievable. As we say, they use situational ethics to change it on a moment so that it can fit their circumstances, their lifestyle, and what they want. But the Bible is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. If you want freedom, you're not going to find it in Keistama. You're not going to find it in Donald Trump. You're not going to find it in any human being that is a political leader. You will find freedom in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. They crucified him, the King of the Jews. He is the King of Kings, and he is the Lord of Lords. He is the great I am. He is worthy of all praise. He is the Savior of the world. He is Jesus Christ. Wherever you are across this world, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. So when we look at these scriptures, we are in Colossians chapter 1, verse 15. And it says, He is the image. There, straight away, we have Genesis chapter 1. What we have in Genesis chapter 1 is very, very clear that God and Christ are woven together in the deity. When you look at this, he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him, talking about Jesus, the masculine, the man, Christ Jesus. He is your healer, he is your redeemer, he is the creator of heaven and earth. He is your your God. He is the great I am. He is the first. He is the last. He is with you at home right now. He is with you in the church right now. God knows everything about your life. Jesus Christ loves you. Redemption is from Genesis chapter 1. It says in verse 15 of Colossians, He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created. Just turn back to Genesis chapter 1 a moment. Hold your hand in the book of Colossians. It says in Genesis chapter 1, verse 1, in the beginning God created. God created. Now hold that thought in your mind a moment. Go to the Gospel of John, John chapter 1, verse 1. That very fundamental, powerful scripture of the Gospels. I'm sorry we're dancing around this morning, but we've got to lay a foundation of who is this Jesus? Where's he come from? You know, when you look at Islam, what they say about Jesus, it isn't true. What other faiths say about Jesus isn't true. Jesus is the Savior of the world. So when you look at the Gospel of John, if you've got a Bible, turn to John chapter 1. John chapter 1, verse 1, it says, In the beginning was the word. Who is the word? What is the word? We are just looking at the fundamental truths of Christianity. In the beginning was the word. And you look at Genesis and we pull a cross-reference. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. So there is a together, there is they are together. The word is with God, God is with the word, but then it goes a little bit theologically deeper. It goes a little, it expands a little bit more. So when you look at the expansion, and it says in verse 1, in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. And the word was was God. They're woven. So when Islam and when certain religions around the world try to tell you who Jesus is, if you watch the social networks, it can be quite damning in a roundabout way. If you watch when when these these certain men with certain beards with certain things and ah, you know what? I've got to be careful. When they try to tell us who Jesus is, they don't know who Jesus is. They really don't know who Jesus is. They've got a fixation in their mind, but they don't realize that Jesus is God. When the Bible says they gave him a name above every other name, they gave him the name Emmanuel. When you read the scripture, you will find that God will be a little bit louder than Jesus. And then you move a little bit further, and Jesus becomes a little bit louder than God. And then suddenly you see the Holy Spirit being louder than the Trinity, the the Trinity is woven together. You cannot separate the Trinity. So when you look at the Word of God, and in the Gospel of John, chapter 1, it says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And then it comes and then it makes something very clear when you look in uh chapter one of John, uh chap sorry, John chapter one, verse two. Get your teeth in, son. It says, He was with God in the beginning. And when you go a little bit further, see, once I start to realize who Jesus is, suddenly fear starts to disappear. Suddenly, when I start to follow, don't ever follow the church. Don't ever follow pastors, don't follow me, don't follow leaders, don't follow Elium, don't follow any movement. Understand what it's about. The church is not first. Religion has no power. The Church of England has no power. Catholicism has no power. Pentecostal, they have no power unless, unless Jesus Christ is the head of the church of that movement. Let's use that word because we're familiar with the word movement. So when you look at the Church of England, who is the head of the Church of England? Who is the head of the Church of Catholicism? Take the Pentecostal movements, more movements than you can poke a stick at in the Pentecostal language. Who is the head of that so-called church? The Bible says Jesus Christ is the cornerstone. He is the head, he is the great high priest. There is no one higher than Christ. So if Jesus is the head of the church, that church is following Jesus. If Mary is being lifted up, that is of the occult. If a bishop's being lifted up, that is of an occult. You cannot lift a man or a woman higher than the Savior of the world. That is biblical fact. This is why we have so much fear in this nation. Because the leaders have taken us away from Jesus Christ, taken us away from the fundamental points of Christianity, and we are looking at earthlings and human beings to find a place of peace and leadership. Where are the leaders in the church? Try and think quickly. Who do you see within the realms of the church across the globe within the UK? Who are and where are these outstanding followers of Jesus Christ? Silence. We're struggling to look for a solid biblical leader. We're struggling to find. Media. Be careful of media. Where does the word media come from? We've got to be very careful of the power of media, the way that it carries, the way that it delivers. You have to go to the biblical truth. So the church in the UK is spiritually anorexic. I'll use that word. We are obese in materialism. We are so plump and large with every gadget under the sun. But spiritually, we are the thinnest we've ever been. We are dangerously thin at this moment spiritually. Because where are the spiritual leaders? So then we come, and I don't want to hang around too much on this word. When you look at the war that's hanging on at this moment, this war has a political drive, is about oil. It's about ownership of a certain shipping lane. It's about ownership of land. It is about power, manipulation, and control. But what we have to look at is that we cannot, this war cannot be won by bullets and warfare. It is a spiritual war. So we have to look beyond what is happening in the natural realm, and you have to look in the prophecies of the word. So this is where we have to know who Jesus is. Because the church, the majority of the church in the UK, doesn't understand why this is taking place at this particular point. When you look at Passover, you look at the war, you look at the board of peace. When you look at those that are on the board of peace, a certain gentleman that was a leader of this nation is a warmonger. He is hungry for war. And he's been placed on the board of peace. And since they've got the board of peace together, all hell has broken loose. So that has nothing to do with God. When you look at the political drive and you look at what's happening, when you look at certain two nations that have been hammer and tongs for the last four years, it is about land, it is about gas, it is about oil, it is about control, it is about manipulation, and a certain person wants to rule the world at this moment in time. The control of the shipping lanes are extremely important because that is the commodity of the world. It's about control. So what I've got to do is I've got to look beyond the word war and I've got to understand who Jesus is. Because when I understand who Jesus is, suddenly war disappears out of my thinking, and I realize that this is scripture that is happening. This is fundamental to the hour and the moment. So when you look at these scriptures, I've got to understand that Jesus was at the beginning of time. Jesus created time. As in time that we understand the clock, the way that we watch. His times are different to our timings. His seasons are different to our seasons. We follow the Western calendar. We follow the digital age of time. We follow something that is not really biblical, you know. And when you look at what's happening around the world, no wonder there's a crisis because our eyes have been taken off of Jesus. That doesn't fall at the feet of the government, that falls at the feet of the church in the nation that you're in. Because the church is responsible for preparing us for seasons that fall onto the nations. And at the moment we're in the war season, and the church is tired and weary because the church has been lifting up the rainbow flag. The church has been lifting up the rainbow flag. Who would ever see this one coming? You know, from lockdown, very interesting. You've got to go right back to lockdown and study the scriptures and find out what's happened. The lockdown was a forerunner of things that are going to happen. The lockdown of the world. Now we're going to experience a lockdown as in petrol. They will lock you down. They will probably put a uh a 20-pound limit on. Things are going to happen because we're living in a time of manipulation and control. That's why we got so many cameras because they're watching, they're following you with the phone that's in your pocket. They're watching, they're listening, they're following everywhere. So from COVID, COVID was the foundation. COVID, and I'm not talking about the, I'm not talking about what it represents, I'm talking about how it was. The control and the manipulation from that was a forerunner of where we got today. So from that point, they showed us how easy it was to lock the whole world down. Lock the whole world down. They locked it down. And now they're locking it down very simply by we've got it open, we got it shut. It's open it shut. It's open it shut. And the human mind is saying, Oh Lord, am I going to get petrol next week? Lord is, Lord, I've got to get the kids to school. I'm worried, Lord, about what's happening. We're understanding now there is going to be electric shortage. There's going to be a gas issue. Winter's going to come, and then suddenly we're going to hear there'll be more tariffs put on it. There'll be this and there'll be that. Manipulation and control. So not diverting from what we're looking at because it all runs together. So this is why I need to know who Jesus is. My God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory. I call the things that I'm not as though they are. So when I speak the language of the word of God, when I speak biblical truth over my life, and I'm not talking about being a wacky Pentecostal believer, I'm talking about someone that knows who Jesus is. I believe in miracles. I believe God will put fuel in my car. I believe I don't need to live my life by the pound note. I am not going to worry about money. I'm going to trust him because my God shall supply. And who is your God? Your God in the Word of God is Jesus. Look what the scripture says. Look what the scripture says. Let's quickly move forward. Through him, John chapter one, verse. Let's go from John chapter one, verse one again. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Now we come on to something really powerful. Through him all things were made. What is the Bible referring to? Creation. It was made through him, by him, and for his good will and his good pleasure. So when you look, Jesus Christ is not who the other world religions say he is. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, he is God, and He is the image of the invisible God that we read in the book of Colossians, chapter one. Let's turn a little bit further through. Through him all things were made. Without him. So when we talk about him or he, we're talking about a man. I'm very sorry to tell you that. We're talking about a Mao. You know, not the in-between. Oh, the pri Oh, what are we? What fence? Look, we've got to be careful here, son. Have you seen them emails that come through? I identify as. I identify as. I identify as a cat. How would that look if I put that on my but you can identify to anything, by the way, because everything is permissible. I'm gonna identify when I sign my emails off to a crazy Jesus follower. You can't do nothing about that. Because I can identify to that, because that's my choice. And I want the world to know that I'm a crazy Jesus follower. I follow Jesus. I believe in the word of God. I believe in the miracle working power. I believe God said, let there be. And you know what? There was. I believe Jesus is the Son of God. I believe Jesus is God in the trihune Godhead that we serve. So when we look at this, it says, Through him all things were made. Without him, this is critical scripture. Without him, who? Jesus. The Bible says, the man, Christ Jesus. So when you look at this, through him all things were made. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. Then we go into salvation. In him was life. The life was the light. So suddenly we have a tie point. We have an anchor back to Genesis. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And God said, Let there be light. So when you bring these scriptures together, Jesus is everywhere. He is the savior of the world. He is the great I am. He is Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. He is the Lion of Judah. He is the king of the Jews. He is the king of the Jews. He is the savior of the world. And as you look at this suddenly, as you lift the envelope of this text, as you look at the theological depth in this scripture, and it says, In him was life. And that life was the light of all men. Then we have verse five. This is really important, verse five. Genesis chapter one tells us about light and dark. Read it for yourself. And God saw the light was good, and he separated light and darkness. There is a spiritual forerunner of words in Genesis chapter one, and there is a separation of Jesus and Lucifer. So when you look at creation, creation is salvation, creation is redemption, creation is Jesus revealing himself to this visible world. So when you look at these scriptures, in him was life, and the life was uh the light of all men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The world doesn't understand Jesus. Religion doesn't understand Jesus. What do you mean religion doesn't understand Jesus? Religion cannot understand Jesus simply because of this. One word. And one word only. Surrender. You have to surrender. Religion cannot surrender. Religion has to take full control. It's all about the man or the woman, whatever it is this day and age, or the bit in between. It has to take full control. And religion tells Jesus what it thinks Jesus is gonna do the wrong way round. The word is surrender. When you look at the cross and you look at the birth, the death, the resurrection, Jesus was He was submissive, He He surrendered His life to the scriptures. Do you believe in healing? Just a rhetorical question. Do you believe in healing in the house and on home? Do you believe that Jesus was came into this world as a child? Do you believe that Jesus was given unto a virgin? Do you believe that Jesus went to the cross and on the third day rose? Do you believe in heaven and hell? The fundamental points of the word of God. I can clearly tell you now, I won't go into it, that I meet people of different leaders of different churches, and one leader that is you can kick a football almost down to their church, doesn't believe in hell. And I had one clergy come to me a while back and says, Ben, do you actually believe that Jesus was born to a virgin? Wearing a collar in the full kit. And I'm thinking, Lord, is this for real? What is going on here? Do you believe this is religion? So I've got to get back, we got to get back. The church online, we got to get back to the fundamental points. Who is Jesus? And when I start to get a glimmer, oh, he's my healer, he's my provider, he's my king, he's my savior, he's my God, he's El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh. As I said, he is your healing presence, he will provide for you. But for me, it's got to be about faith. So then we come to the language of the written word. See, when we pray, what is prayer? Prayer is communication. So when we take these scriptures, we can take this verse 5 of John chapter 1 and we can say, it says there, the light shines in the darkness. Father, I thank you that the light is greater than the darkness. Lord, I thank you that your light shines within me. See, when I take a line at a time and I and I pray that and I use that, suddenly I'm speaking the law of the spiritual language of the word of God. See, when I speak according to social media, I speak according to education, I speak according to the way of the world, I'm speaking outside of the framework, 99.5 of my conversation. I'm speaking outside of the spiritual law of the word of God. So I'm gonna find that I could be depressed, I could be worried, I could be living a life that is not at the full potential of what it could be, because I'm speaking the language of the world. But when I speak the word and the the spiritual words of God, I the Bible says we serve a God that calls the things that are not as though they are. Wow. So what does that mean? Lord, I thank you that I'm healed right now. Lord, I got a backache, but my backache is going. I'm calling the things that are not as though they are. Lord, I thank you right now. I don't have enough money, Lord, for diesel this week or petrol, but Lord, I believe through your provision, you are gonna get me to school, to work, to home, and back. You are my provider. We have to give it to God. Lord, I believe, Lord, that I'm gonna be able to fill my car up. Lord, I'm gonna believe, Lord, that I'm gonna be able to get some food for the children. Lord, I believe, Lord, that my wages are gonna go further because you are the God of multiplication. What do you mean? When Jesus went the loaves and the fish, when you look at that story, oh, you can the world, you can hear the world, oh the loaves and the fish. What's all that about? They don't understand it because it's spiritual more than it is practical. Because when you look at that great biblical fact, Jesus said, just give me what you got. See, when you give Jesus what you got, he will give it back, then it will look the same, the loaves and the fish. But when he says, Go and deliver that, that is when the multiple because you're giving it out by faith. Go and give that fish away. Yeah, but I've only got X amount. Just give it away and watch. See, when you when you do what the word says, the Bible says that the disciple gave him the loads of the loaves and the fish, and he just gave them over, and Jesus lifted them up and he just gave thanks for what he had in his hands, and he gave them back to the disciple. And if that was me, I would have gone, is that it? What have you done? I'm expecting these fish to be flapping around and to be growing, and I'm not gonna be able to carry them. But it was the same weight, the same measure, the same amount of bread, the same bowl, nothing looked different to what? The human eye. See, that is the issue. It doesn't look different to the natural eye. But when you start living by faith, the Bible says we're not gonna live by sight. We got to live by faith. We live outside of the realms of how the world lives. So when I look at these scriptures, give it five, ten minutes, five minutes, and we'll come to the table. And it says in John, I'm just gonna read it from John chapter one again. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. He was with God in the beginning. And uh verse two, he was with God in the beginning. Sorry, and it says, Through him all things were made. Without him, nothing that has been made can be made. In him was the life, the life and the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. And then we flick over, let's go, let's just quickly go to the book of Colossians, where we was. Let me read these five verses. He is the image, Colossians chapter 1, verse 15. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him, we got him again. The way that he said Jesus signs his emails off, it's him. He identifies himself as him. Jesus is a him, by the way. I'll just let you all know that one. He is a him, and it says, For by him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible. Aye. We're going a little bit deeper. When you look at these scriptures, and it says they're visible, invisible, uh, whether thrones or powers, rulers or authorities, all things were created by him and for him. So when someone says to you, well, why is the world created? Well, you ask Jesus, because the word of God says all things were created by him and for him, for his purpose, for his good pleasure, his goodwill. That that is the end of it. And then you read a little bit further, and this is really, really, um, really important to our understanding. Well, it all is, but he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And it says he is the head of the body, the church. Sorry, Pentecostal movements, sorry, Catholicism, sorry, canterbury. It's game over. If God through Christ is not the head of your church, of your movement, you are what? You are an occult. Fact. That's that's fact. If Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit, is not the head of the church as we use that word, you are an occult. If you serve and lift up a human being higher than Jesus Christ, you are devil worshiping. Biblical fact. Not me, I'm not making it up, it's biblical fact. That's what the Bible says. The Bible says he is the head of the church, he is the beginning and the firstborn among the dead, so that in everything he has supremacy. Then we then we have verse 19. We're gonna have to call it a day in a moment. There's so much depth in this. Verse 19 of Colossians chapter 1. For God was pleased to have all his fullness. Now we start to see a call in to what Christ's mission to this earth was, and then it says, and he is the head of the body of the church, he is the beginning, the firstborn among the living and the dead, and so that in everything he might have supremacy. For God was so pleased to have all the fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things. It comes back to God. So when you look at these scriptures, they are absolutely mind-blowing what they talk about to dwell in him and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by marking the peace through his blood shed on the cross. And if you was just to ponder in Genesis in just a moment, and let's just finish off on this scripture. Genesis chapter one, let's find out who the hymn is. Genesis chapter one, and we just turn over. Well, I'll turn over, and it says in verse 26, and God said, Let us make man in our image. Let's make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish, over the over the sea, over the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth, and all over uh the creatures that move along the ground. Verse 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God, he created him, male and female. Let me tell you, world, there's only two. There's no bit in between. And I gotta be careful because I want to stay on social media for quite a while yet. So there's only two a man and a woman. Male and a female. You can nip it, you can tuck it, you can poke it, you can pull it, you can cut it off, but I'm afraid to say you're still gonna be the man or a woman. No matter how much you do, you tuck, you poke, you push, you put it on the mantelpiece at home and say, there, kids, that's what I was. It doesn't you are made up internally, powerfully, biologically, male and female. So when I identify to my email, I'm a man, I am a mal, I'm a Jesus follower, and I think that's how I'll sign my emails off because I can identify to anything, so as we come to the table, so when the world asks us, who is Jesus? We haven't even started the scriptures, have we? Who is this Jesus? He's the savior of the world, he's seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for all the saints. When you look at Christ, the character of Jesus, He's let's use it. For the quickness of language. When you look at all the other gods that are dead, by the way, when you look at them, everything was about them. When you look at Christ, he gave his life for me and for you. He is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for all he is praying for you when you're weary and you're tired. He is interceding. The Bible says he is interceding for all the saints. He is that go-between. He is the way, he is the truth, he is the life. Who is this Jesus? He is the Savior of the world. He is the Son of God. He is God. The Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. I would advise you, don't follow the church. Follow Jesus. Study who Jesus is. Who is this Jesus? What does he represent? What does he stand for? Who is this Jesus? Come on, brother. That's correct. When you look at that scripture, and that was in John, what was that? So let me just read that out for everybody online. Our brothers just called that out. John 17, 5. When we look at this scripture here, it is very, very interesting actually. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory that I had with you before the beginning of the world. Again, another anchor to telling us that Jesus Christ is outside of time, He's before time. He is God. They're woven together through the tapestry of the deity. So when you look at that, now glorify. Now let's get back to where we were before we spoke the world into existence. See, when you study creation, studying creation is a foundation for Christianity. It suddenly starts to be revealed who Jesus is. Let's come to the table. Father, in the name of Jesus. We come to the cross because there's nowhere else to go. Father, we pray for religion this morning. Lord, we pray that we will study Jesus and only Jesus, because Jesus is the deity. He is the Father, the Son, He is the Holy Spirit. And however we look at it, as our brother so rightly said, shared that scripture, that Jesus was before the world came in. John tells us the scripture says before all things, Jesus was. So it's important in the times that we live that I understand who Jesus is. Don't worry about the Pope. Don't worry about his red bottom shoes. Don't worry about Canterbury. They're going to charge you another five at a go in there. Do not worry and look at the church. Follow the word of God. Study the word. Read the word. Look at the character of Jesus. You know, so much has been on the news, certain news channels, um, regarding about the the um a certain generation who they're following as their role models. If I look at social media and look at those gorillas that are supposed to be role models for men, what my brain is gone. If you want a role model, whether you're male or female, because there's only two of us, you follow Jesus. If you want to be a beautiful woman, who do you follow? Jesus. If you want to be a real, if you whatever way you want to look at it, man or woman, male or female, you follow Jesus. The study of Jesus will show you how Jesus respected women is off the chart. Why am I gonna follow Andrew Tate? Why am I gonna follow those those those um I won't use that title language from the pulpit, but you know what I'm saying? Why, why would I look at social media simply because the church has got no role model in the way of men? Oh, it's getting in trouble. Seriously, when we look at religion, what we got pink handbags, feather dusters, dancing around, the rainbow flag. When you if you want to follow a man and find out what a man is, you follow Jesus. You follow Jesus, and I will tell you now, he is the greatest man the world has ever seen. He never punched someone, he changed the world. The world is talking about Jesus. They're not all talking about these five-minute wonders on social media, fast cars, fags, and women. Are you sure? Are you for real? Follow Jesus Christ. If you want to be the best mum, the best young woman, the best nan, whatever, if you want to be the best you can ever be, you follow Jesus and He will show you how to be that character. I'm telling you now, you study Jesus, he will transform your life, he will reveal things to you, and you will suddenly start to find I can do this life. Because another thing, we've lost our identity in the church. We've lost who we are. The church doesn't know who it is, it's everywhere, it's lifting every flag under the sun. Do not engage in that, but let's break bread. Father, as we come to the table right now, we thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Jesus. And as we hold this bread together right now, in our own time, we take this bread in the house and online. We take this bread and we say, Thank you, Jesus, that your body was broken for me. Lord, I take this bread and I dip it in this cup, and Lord, I see, Lord, that suddenly this grape juice is absorbed by the bread. And the Bible says it became sot. And the first person, this is absolutely fascinating. Around the Passover table. Jesus done that. Who did he give it to? Judas Iscaria. Mind-blowing. It's very, very interesting. The Passover. So, Father, I thank you that as we take the bread, we dip it in the cup, Father, we thank you. Suddenly, the body and the blood come together. And suddenly we realize that the bread is representing the body of Christ, and the blood, and the grape juice, sorry, represents the blood of Jesus. It's not going to change, it's not going to turn into something crazy. It's always bread. It will always be bread. It will always be grape juice. It's probably a fruit shoot, to let you know the truth. So when you take this right now, Father, I thank you because this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. And thank you that He went to the cross. Amen. This cup, the cup of redemption. See, when I study creation, I see this at the very beginning of time. When I study creation, I've got redemption, salvation, justification. I've got everything. Creation is the foundation. So Lord, as I take this cup, cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, Lord. In the beautiful name of Jesus Christ. Amen. We're going to come to the close in just a few moments and we say the Lord's Prayer. But when you start to study Jesus, you'll never come to a full stop. When you start to look at the character of Jesus, when you start to look at the way that He He dealt with situations, how He treated human beings, how He spoke to people, how He dealt with authority. When you study Jesus, don't study church history. You just get bored. What do I want to go study in an old building for? It's boring. What am I going to study the old popes? They're all dead. What am I going to study all the bishops? What am I going to do all that for? What do I want to need no church history for? It's irrelevant. I've got to know who Jesus is. I've got to study Jesus because then I get history. I get creation. I get everything that I need through the power of Jesus Christ. Let's just pray and then we'll say the Lord's Prayer. Father, we thank you for all of us in the house today. And Lord, we pray for everybody online, Lord, wherever they are. Thank you, Lord, for everybody online staying with us today. And Lord, we pray, Lord, for everyone that's at home on their own. We pray, Lord, for them now that you'll bless them. Lord, that you will just, Father, I pray that Jesus will be revealed to everybody on camera today. Lord, that you reveal yourself to everybody online. Lord God, everybody in here. Lord, that we won't, dear God, just study the Pentecostal movements, revivals, and all that. Lord, that we will look at the character of Jesus. And Lord, I pray that we will come to the cross. We will just hold it at the cross and just say, thank you, Jesus, for the power of salvation. So, Lord, I believe in healing. I believe everyone here is healed. I believe everyone online is healed. I believe, dear God, that you're doing miracles in bodies and minds and hearts right now. And I just pray, Lord, that you'll strengthen all of us. Lord, as this week unfolds, I ask you, Lord, that you will put fuel in our cars, diesel in the vans. I pray, dear God, for the fridges, all of our fridges will have food in. I pray, dear God, that the children will get fed this week. I pray, dear God, if the heating has to go on, the heating will go on. Lord, I pray, Lord, that we'll flick boilers on. Lord, we'll have hot baths, hot showers. Lord, I pray, Lord, for children to be clothed. I pray this week, Lord, there'll be a turnaround in government, that this government are going to feed the children free at every school, every university, every college, every kindergarten. Lord, I believe you're going to turn this government around. I pray, dear God, for that generation. Lord, God, the retired generation. Lord, I just pray for them right now. Lord, that you'll take the worry about the cost of living away from them. You'll put food in their cupboards. You'll turn the gas fire on. You'll keep them safe. You'll keep them warm. And Holy Spirit, we pray for the church in the UK. Give it a backbone. Give it the word. And Lord, I thank you for every congregation in this nation. That you are blessing the congregations. And Lord, you are moving through the congregations. But Lord, I ask you for every leader, myself included, Lord, I pray that we will deliver the word without error. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
